- The trial within a trial in the Senzo Meyiwa trial in the high court in Pretoria continues.
A new witness in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial will take the stand today at the high court in Pretoria.
Sergeant Batho Mogola, who was involved in the arrest of accused one, Muzi Sibiya, on the 30th of May 2020, will today give testimony on the accused's arrest and detention, amid allegations of torture and assault.
Sibiya, who has alleged he was subjected to torture by the police who arrested him, allegedly confessed in relation to Meyiwa's murder a few hours following his arrest.

If there was a tip off about drug dealers why is the cold case unit investigating the case. A 2019 case is not a cold case. Why won't they just say the arrests were for this case. Who called the national cold case unit to arrest a drug dealer in relation to a 2019 case instead of a police station

According to the witness, Ntanzi has seen the witness drive the white BMW in 2021, but Nthazi says she drove the car at the time of his arrest. According to her, she did not have a car at that time. Lets see how Mngo side steps that.

The current witness will be hard to crack. She seems capable of absorbing whatever the defence throws as her. Her answers are short. She talks slowly and deliberately. It's hard to trip over someone with that answering style.
Everything is incosistance on the police's side, the other police said that they used some tactics to confuse accused number 1 but this one is putting it as if it was a normal arrest.

I witnessed a lot of arrests in our community however the issue of rights is something I never heard of during all the arrests. I know there are rights to be mentioned during any arrest. Come to think of a policeman by the name of 'Sputla' informing a suspect about his rights after he (the policeman) had clapped, insulted him and pointed a firearm at him (the suspect). This lady is just correcting and shielding the wrongs they did by mentioning the issue of rights everywhere they went.
And thinks that because she is a woman, the court will believe her. Patiently waiting for cross examination. It seems like even Mnisi will have a go.

@macmandla3582 These accused people have their flaws, that we can not dispute. However, in the case of Senzo Meyiwa, no evidence has so far linked them with the killing thereof. Adv. Baloyi keeps on bringing dodge police officers whose evidence fails to convince some of us.
It is confusing now; constable Buthelezi said she was left outside of the yard by her car. Now she's saying that the three of them was inside the room. I wander how big is it as it was fitting the total of 4 people!!?
And lets not forget both constable "Warra" Mogane and Buthelezi said there were 2 male suspects, now she is saying there were 3, the version of Mngomezulu..

I don’t think so . One of those places has been confirmed by Mogane during cross examination the only difference is the activities that happened there. Mogane accepted that yes there was a garage and Jonathan and crew came to that place exactly as narrated by Ntanzi. Around that area there is scaw metals

Hey Mosadi i even went back to watch when the accused first appeared in court, in Boksburg Court, and also under Judge Maumela.. like the the way its narrated it has some holes😉,and now Mogola is still doing damage control...with regards to the arrest, why they were booked in and out, clothing, the cars... ai man... something is missing, even uMjiyakho appears on the second appearance, yet he and Ntanzi it was water and oil as Ntanzi uttered that uMjiyakho is forcing him to plead guilty and he doesn't know why. Furthermore all the 4 accused except Ntanzi were already arrested and serving time. Accused 5 even said, badlala ngabo... something is just off. The state is seeking a conviction, not the culprits. There is no justice for the Meyiwa family, so sad😔😔

The lady is a leading investigator but she was absent in most of the she was hanging out with gininda. She was just forwarded coz of gender equality.
I suspect that Ntanzi crafted his version. So far, he has not brought any independent memory or detail into his version. The only independent detail he brought in his version, is the Colonel's wife being handed over the car keys. He merely remembered the models and colours of the cars that the police were using (then and now), the normal co-passenger arrangement, and perhaps the proximity of the stops. From there, he added his own movie style narrative.
If this is true, then he is cunning. I suspect he had to find out what land marks were visible at those stops. Hence, the mention of garages (many of those around) and the dumps (many of those around that area). 🕵️♂️

@@ma_tee_n that is not true. Mngo did not fool the judge when he said that the record will speak for itself. He might have fooled some section of the audience. There are discrepancies between the accused versions and the court records.
