This was my bat in my first season in the UK. I got it for £15. Broke it in the first Net Session 😂. It broke in the most ridiculous way you can imagine through the middle 😂.

@@matthewhodgson7388Yeah that is common I've had a couple of bats broken from the handle but this was a rare case.

Would love to see how this goes if it was given to a good batmaker to prepare it properly, bone the edges and knock it in etc.
I think it would last longer, not sure whether the performance would improve though
@ourCRiCKET_ oh I dunno Dan, I've had a couple of bats prepped by a good batmaker and the improvement in performance has been off the scale.
Here in Ireland in the sports direct shops there are cricket sections. They are so bad and there are literally 3 shops in the whole country as long as you exclude the North and they are all in Dublin. The gloves fall apart after 2 days and the pads are just as bad. The sports direct stuff is so bad that no matter where you live you just go up to Dublin to get anything that is better than the sports direct crap

Honest These are my favourite videos, #dan at his best 😂
Dan doesn't look good whilst batting being so tall but stays in the crease waiting for the ball helping him with getting bat on the extra pace deliveries. Whilst the South African does have a better technique with bat and bad close together but because he is pushing forward doesn't help facing high pace deliveries.
