The bewilderbeast can grew more than this, for example the vanaheim's bewilderbeast is far bigger than drago's and valka's bewilderbeast.
Dux Dream if you watched the tv show there is a final resting place for all dragons called vanaheim and on it the is a giant skeleton on it that belongs to a massive bewilder beast
@@mrsoup9238 ye I did but not in a while I just remembered it, and it had the stone like dragons on it
Foreverwing is one Majestic dragon! The dragon look like an old wise man and the fact it is a mountain just make it more amazing!
It's based from the Lion Turtle from the Avatar: The Last Airbender series.
I only just realized how many dragons have the word ‘Death’ in their name.
Same here there's
Green death
Red death
Screaming death
Whispering death
I could go on and on
A Intersting fact that is mentioned of the Wispering death and probably true of the Screaming death Is the fact they never stop Growing and remember the Screaming Death we see is not a adult it's still a juvenile and considering how most Dragons have a exceptionally long lifespan it's possible the Oldest Screaming death would have a body that spans the entire planet and considering the setting of this series i really wouldn't be surprised if such a Dragon existed, After all Jourmungandr the World Serpent is also sometimes known as a Dragon
In race to the edge the screaming death would have been fully grown still bigger than it was in defenders of berk
@@thomasbayan972 Actually if it's like the whispering Death it will never be fully grown it won't stop Growing and RTTE is only what? 4 years after Defenders? meaning the Screaming Death is only 4 years old Remember it's a Alpha style Dragon it's not gonna have a short lifespan
A Titan Screamer will have red eyes instead of the black eyes that it's pre Titan stage possesses. but some things to note none the less..
The Screaming Death is one of the only dragons that become titan by birthright. Most other dragons have to be able to outlast the aging process of its broad wing lifespan successfully, to reach Titan stage and most will not make it. Not so for a Screaming Death, due to it's mutated DNA. One thing is certain, it like titans generally, is an incredibly rare occurrence.
Whispering Deaths, might not stop growing, but they do have a lifespan. I'd assume that, that's longer than the lifespan of other dragons but it's a lifespan none the less. Other things to note is the growth rate, but that's hard to measure without a captive egg.
Lastly, not every Whisper, will become Titan, but assuming it's not killed; every Screamer becomes Titan.
Other things: Titan Wing mutation is a rare genetic response to ageing, where in strong specimens; kicks in to increase the lifespan and survivability of the dragon. Titan Wings are often because of this, by definition ancient dragons.
Not to detract from what was being said, just my rudimentary understanding.
@@F1ll1nTh3Blanks So your saying That a Screaming death because it's a guaranteed Titan wing Has a pretty good chance of living hundreds of years and that it could indeed become large enough to at least encompass the archipelago?
@@craytherlaygaming2852 No but maybe yes, really I don't know, that depends on factors such as, growth rate and wether or not something bigger or more powerful comes along.
Assuming it goes on to live hundreds of years then, it's possible, theoretically speaking but again, too many factors to be certain.
Fun fact
Red Death was originally intended to be bigger than the bewilderbeast. But that idea was changed after something went wrong with the animation or something.
The purple death is the red death's aquatic counterpart that appeard in the comics and games witch could rival the red death's size
@TVchernobylface This is not true at all. What are you talking about. The purple death is not a subspecies is a cousin (Like tigers and lions) Second is not purple corals that live on it thats just their scales(Is a design choice like the foreverwing wood-like scales or the red death coral-like crown)
@TVchernobylface Rise of berk follower dragons are not really canon as they give to every "alpha" dragon their followers, The crimson goregutter and the shellfire have their set of followers when the shellfire is a loner dragon and the crimson goregutter doesnt have any followers in httyd3. In fact in the canon comic the purple death is shown as a sleeping giant that had no followers when they fought it.
@TVchernobylface Except rise of berk(Which is the game with most uncanonical things) individuals are the same as some of the ones in the seried, in fact its the samd purple death, the comics purple death is put back to sleep near berk, The RoB purple death wakes up near berk, The screaming death of RoB is obv the same as he is the only individual of the archipelago but this is contradicted by main canon(RTTE) as he lives far from berk with no followers and just his family. Valkas bewilderbeast should be dead and dragos should be on the hiddenworld, the only ones that ca be other individuals are the foreverwing(Not the nepenthe one) The shellfire and the crimson goregutter. You are just making headcannon at that point, the only canon source for purple death is sadly the only comic he has been as the lore from RoB contradicts main canon, especially because in the comic is stated that the purple death makes other dragons uneasy and scared making them go away from it like the bewilderbeast aura from RTTE that prevents any dragon from getting near the egg
Foreverwing is also very big because they can make islands and their like streaming deaths they dont stop growing until they die
Toothless may not be the biggest dragon, but he is still a bada$$ dragon
I think you may have missed a few, dragons like the death song and timber jack are definitely bigger than some of the earlier dragons on this list
I hated only one thing in httyd
They ended it.
I would like to have seen it become a vast dragonverse like Pokémon but perhaps it's too soon.
Yeah I grew up with it
My first crush told me about it and I watched it
Yeah thtah was Wen the first film soo good
I thought the Timberjack would be mentioned. He even showed a picture of it
IN THE BOOK OF DRAGONS IT SAYS IT HAS A WING SPAN OF THE SIZE OF A FOREST
@@gamatatsu6574 It also said how Night Fury's are the unholy off spring of lightning and death itself, yet Toothless' highly playful nature begs to differ
It's mostly an example on how the Vikings are still in the past compared to us so stories are naturally exaggerated since no one can fact check, especially with flying fire breathing dragons
@ismail it is true that it is wrong that night fury's are not the unholy off spring of lightning and death itself but they didn't know much about night fury's they knew a lot about timberjacks we know this because hiccup says when he tames toothless we better fix the book of dragons.
You are forgetting that the only bewilderbeasts we have seen are the ones that are not adult yet, the adults are around 10 times bigget than the ones is the movie
And the thing is, they were both only broad wings. So Vanaheim is a Titan Wing. A Leviathan would be the size of Manhattan.
ThePacific Yeah, I’m pretty sure Valkas bewilderbeast was only like 1-2 years old, cause in dragons race to the edge hiccup was 18-19, and that’s when the Valka took in the bewilderbeast egg. Then in HTTYD 2 hiccup is 20, so the bewilderbeast s only 1-2 years old. I think, correct me please if I am wrong.
@@whitekittyamberheart7241 titan wings and leviathans are the same thing. Leviathans are just the titanwing equivilent of sea creatures.
@@pizzapie5356 Correct but it's either the case that the sizes were vastly inaccurate, they do grow further and or they do have another ancient stage.. 🤔
You actually first see the Fireworm Queen in Defenders of Berk, not Riders of Berk. :)
Riders come before Defenders. Riders is volume 1 and Defenders is volume 2.
Pls do this , Next : most rarest or powerful dragons
Edit : WoW thx for likes :)
3 light furies 2 bewilderbeasts 3 a non mutated and non hybrid Night Fury
What about the eruptodon from the defenders of the wing island??
Those are bigger than typhoomerangs
For me, the biggest Dragons in HTTYD are Bewilderbeest and the malevolent Red Death Queen.
@@JeremiahOptimus But I like the more terrifying ones like Smaug and the majorities of the Dragons from Dungeons and Dragons. Because they are more intelligent and are capable of speech.

I just love HTTYD designs. Bewilder beast is such a beauty.
Who is in LOVE with dragons after watching all the movies of how to train ur dragon and the series
👇👇
I AM just the bueaty in dragons and how ferocious and fierce they are and mostly im in love with night furies!

Typhoomerangs are way more big then lumberjacks, ok not That much but there is a big difference
@@thepacific2933 Timberjack are actually larger than Typhoomerang, being at least 150 ft long, placing them next to the Sumaripper.
Cloud jumper is quite large tho. I think he’s larger that the whispering death also you forgot the Dramilion king.
You also forgot the Titan Wing Dramilllion introduced in race to the edge
Toothless: you may be big but I'm strongest among all dragons
Aloysius Wong, you're right. Toothless is the strongest dragon from How to train your dragon, because he defeated Bewilderbeast, other Night Furies are also very strong, but they isn't that strong as Toothless.

hey there is a dragon may be bigger than the screaming death
In the episode "The Longest Day" Hiccup and toothless get chased by a giant alpha dragon
You forgot to explain that the Submaripper and the Shellfire are natural enemies.
The foreverwing actually had it's first appearance in one of the graphic novels/comics. There's also another Dragon from the comics that's really big: the purple death. An aquatic subspecies of the red death.
And I'm not sure how long ago this video was made, but the crimson goregutter is bigger than the whispering death I'm pretty sure
When I was a kid I used to imagine that I am in Berk choosing my own dragon 🤣
Next do top 10 biggest beards from How To Train Your Dragon
well this is the topic made for me!
Number one king ghidorah
King ghidorah: I’m not a dragon I’m a kaiju
He IS a dragon. Kaiju just means strange beast. He's got horns, wings and powers reminiscent of a Skrill. If that's not a dragon idk what is.
Well he more powerful than a skrill or toothless hm but I don't think he a drogon he Frome SPACE so idk wat he is.
When the DNA hydropothasis of a night fury is mixed with a emphaticenot scangene is actually very powerful.
Hey, I'm a little late for the party
Great video, I just have to say that you missed one dragon, Timberjack, it's a very overchadoed dragon by the typhoomerang sinve they are pretty similar but the Timberjack is even bigger I think
I like your style of apresentation, looks dope 😂
And the Purple Death that appears in "Legend of Ragnarok"?
Excuse me, but my English is not very good and if I mention Purple Death I did not understand it.
There's actually another super huge Dragon in the HTTYD franchise that only ever made an appearance in one of the comics, it's called the Purple Death
I don't know what it can do but it's around Red Death/Foreverwing/Bewilderbeast level of big, in this comic issue, Hiccup was trying to Train a Changewing named Phantom but kept getting hypnotised, meanwhile there were strange tremors in the sea or something, they were being caused by the Purple Death, who had woken up from a something thousand year sleep, and nothing the people of Berk did would be able to stop it, in the end, Hiccup finally succeed in training Phantom, and had him hypnotise the Purple Death into going back to sleep
It's indeed a part of the same order of species as Red Death and Foreverwing. It's about the Red Death size (roughly 120m) perhaps slightly longer and slender.
Bewilderbeast, Fathomfin and Luminous Krayfin are bigger at over 150m and each respectively, completely unrelated to Red Death.
The forever wing didnt appear int the show it only appear in the games and comics
@@althephantomaki4478 It is canon. The 2 latest comics have been stablished as canon by the director
Dean Deblois said that the comics and games are canon, so the Foreverwing, Purple Death, and Luminous Krayfin are dragons that exist in the movie canon
actually in the rip-off "Rescue Riders" it appears though its not even as big as a whispering death
The screaming death is my favourite, it’s a giant screaming albino snek with wings
When you realize there is still another bewilderbeast alive 👀👀👀
A crossover between HTTYD and Monster hunter would be nice. A nightfury capture quest special assignment and a slay quest of alpha bewilderbeast.
Crimson Goregutter?
Edit: nvm it’s only 30ft
@@funkengine I see, I do still believe that's inaccurate however Toothless is some 20ft I believe. The Crimson Goregutter in mass alone dwarves Toothless a few times over.
I assume the numbers were lost in conversion. 30m in ft is 98ft. That's probably a more accurate size for it.
Not even close have u seen that thing compared to hookfang the thing is like 100ft atleast

The Screaming Death
The Red Death

The Death Gripper
And all the other Deaths
And while it's not exactly Death...
The Deadly Nadder
Wow, this show has a thing for putting Death in the names of its dragons
WOW I just got an ad about how to train your dragon
None of these dragons could exist in real life at the very least outside of the sea. The amount of energy needed to sustain their gargantuan size would cause them to decimate entire ecosystems, much like how the Screaming Death decimated islands. Not to mention flying takes a ridiculous amount of energy, which would make them even more ravenous. They would pretty much destroy the world before dying of starvation. Whales already suffocates under its own weight outside of the ocean, imagine what would happen to the Scauldron, Shellfire, or Bewilderbeast. The atmosphere is also unable to support creatures of this size. But let's be honest, standing on the edge of the sea with a Bewilderbeast rising out of it would be the coolest, scariest thing ever.
lets not go that way please. remember how it could be possible since the oxygen levels during viking times were slightly higher than they are today.
@@bdawgdeela4045 calm down? did I come of as angry to you when just stating some very basic scientific facts in a calm manor? whats your problem.

jellebelll ye it came first, just race to the edge was in the past or (idk how to say it :( )
It happends before yes but httyd 2 came earlier so we first saw it in httyd 2
Some theories state that the Shellfire shown in race to the edge is a titan wing and shellfires are normally the same size as submarippers.
There's also a theory that valka's and drago's bewilderbeasts are larger than normal bewilderbeasts as seen in a small scene in httyd 3
is there a vid on the strongest ones I feel like that vid would do good
Nightfury’s are by far the strongest. With their speed, agility, and abilities, they’re so very strong.
As we may know, the Red Death is the largest in Stoker, Bewilderbeast is Tidal, Screaming Death is Boulder, and Foreverwing is Mystery. But what's the biggest in the last three, Tracker, Sharp, and Strike?
Is the Rumblehorn the biggest in Tracker? Is the Stormcutter biggest in Sharp or the Timberjack or Razorwhip? Is the Night Fury the biggest in Strike or is it the Deathgripper?
The submaripper is also a tracker class so that means that it's the biggest tracker class
Yo what a coincidence. I went on this and a HttyD ad can on

My fave is the Bewilderbeast
Can we acknowledge that the screaming death EATS WHOLE ISLANDS
It would have been cool if you included there titan wing sizes as well, and I can't think of the name of the island that dragons go to to die off the top of my head but the island is made of an extinct bewilder beast alpha that died of old age and had no reining heir to be the new alpha, (which is why certain species go there to die), but it was at least twice as big so they can grow to be bigger than 500ft.
That moment you watched the end of race to the edge and realize the red and gray bewilder beast killed her offspring
no the biggest species are ghidorah
That's a completely different series, gidorah is from the godzilla movies.
you forgot the deathsong seen in race to the edge ( i didnt see deathsong in any other shows) the deathsong is large and known to lure in and eat other dragons. in race to the edge the deathsong is first seen in season one episode 3. the deathsong looks about 45 feeet long but 73 feet tall
The Bewilderbeast at Vanaheim Was A Titan Wing! Drago’s and Valka’s were not titan wings and that explains why they’re Bewilderbeast’s are smaller
ACTUALLY NO DRAGO'S VALK'S ARE NOT ADULT YET REMEMBER VANAHEIM IS WHERE OLD DRAGONS GO TO DIE SO THERE FOR THAT IS NOT TRUE ( THEY GET 10X BIGGER AS THEY ARE NOW )
@Kos And gaming if you search up was the bewilderbeast at vanaheim a titan wing its a maybe but in httyd 2 it states that her bewilderbeast is young in race to the edge we see the egg go to valka and by then end of the series to httyd 2 is just a couple of years
Woooo
We don’t even know how big foreverwing is but I know that it is around the same height as reddeath you can’t just say it is bigger than the red death because it is a colossal dragon.
WHERE YOU GOT ALL THOSE PICTURES? IS AMAZING!
But you forgot a large dragon who suffered from *idk i forgot* i had seen it on the *HTTYD race to the edge*
It was starting from a large dragon who suffered and then left as an island for the dragon’s *afterlife*
How to train your dragon is the right way to turn movies into shows (no change in animation style and doesn’t clash with the plot)
If the wingspan of typhommerang is bigger than shellfire, and in the episode shellfire is really big why aren’t the wings of typhoomerang very big???

The one thing that I don't understand is the size comparison between the Bewilderbeasts and the Red Death. As shown in HTTYD, the the size of the Red Death's eye is roughly the same height as Stoik the Vast is tall. This would mean, seeing as how it has small eyes, that the Red Death's size would have to be around 500ft long if we say that Stoik is 2m tall.
