Love it when these things just pop up at the front of my TH-cam page like they are from earlier today - but really from a year ago. Had the EXACT same final in the exact same car in late May (of course, mine read 1.6 miles instead of 2.7 km). Still have the recording. But HERE's the thing - I picked up my RS6 right at the start of the session in Horizon WIlds and then lurked clockwise past Mulege, on the water side of Palacio Azul de Oceano and then even around El Arco de Cabo San Lucas. It's a laborious - sometimes stressful, sometimes really tense - 12-13 minutes to get to La Cabana. I've probably made that run successfully two dozen times in low-level cars. However - only three times has the finish line appeared in that general area. And the shortest of all was when I was in the RS6.
Yah those races are fun, and it's a great way to easily beat much faster opponents 😄
Maybe this was the shortest final ever, i had one of my opponents do this trick as well month ago
Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't. In this case I was fortunate that it did work 😃

Except for the cheaters I had one where I got the perfect run up on the highway - and the route was to just follow it, I was going 280+ at the moment when leaving the final circle. Took about 1-2 minutes to complete.
Oh and the car obviously was the level 10 Merc AMG and in highway setting
Yah those AMG highway runs are so dominant; nothing matches the AMG's speed there 😄
I once had a route from the Volcano. This route was a little longer in distance, but much 😁 shorter in time.
Yah that slope downwards gets you a lot of extra speed 😄

2 reasons: to challenge myself, but the bigger reason was to try and pull the finish line in a nonconventional direction (which worked perfectly 😃)

Audi RS6 should be ranked to lvl 6, audi RS7 to lvl 7, mini JCW buggy to lvl1 like the beetle, Ferrari P4 to lvl6, jeep trackhawk to lvl 6 or 7, audi S1 to lvl 2 or 3.
Yah I think the Audi RS6 is the most under-ranked car in the Eliminator. It was a level 5 in FH4

I wanted to pull the finish line with a lower level car; thankfully it worked perfectly 😃
What audi rs 6
It's a strong car, even though it is a level 2 car (in FH4 ir was a level 5 car)
I know it's strong but you had a better one with 10
@@2karolek true, but my goal was also to try and pull the finish line in an unusual direction, which is better done in a low level car
