- Join us for our first full day on the parks. We spend the day at Epcot where we enjoy many of our favourite attractions and discover the new World Celebration Gardens. We explore World Showcase and wait for it to get dark to see Moana Journey of Water at night and the Christmas overlay at Living with the Land before enjoying dinner at Boatwrights Dining Hall at Port Orlean Riverside.

We spend the first full park day of our trip in our favourite park, Epcot. First we head to The Land to ride Soarin' Over California and Living with the Land. We are fascinated by the Christmas overlay on Living with the Land and plan to come back later and ride it again in the dark to get the full effect.
We attempt to join the stand by line for Remy's Ratatoullie Adventure but the ride is down so we head back to Connections Cafe for some coffee and a pastry. On the way we take a short cut through the Creations store and browse some of the new merchandise.
We exit the cafe into the new World Celebration Gardens where we find the statue of Walt the Dreamer and then, in the spirit of enjoying all things new at Epcot, we make our way to Moana Journey of Water before riding the classic Nemo and Friends.
We watch the short conservation film, Awesome Planet, before heading to Guardians of the Galaxy:Cosmic Rewind.
It's time for lunch so we head to World Showcase and enjoy some nachos from La Cantina de San Angel quick service counter at the Mexico pavilion. Keith needs to satisfy his sweet tooth so we make our way to the Norway pavilion for some school bread.
We browse our way round World Showcase, stopping off in The Fjording store in Norway, the House of Good Fortune in China and the Karamell-Küche, Die Weihnachts Ecke and the Stein Haus shops in Germany before ending up at the American pavilion where we enjoy the Voices of Liberty and catch the American Adventure show.
We take a quick look in the Art of Disney store and then pop in to the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival which we thoroughly enjoy.
As dusk starts to fall we make our way back to Moana Journey of Water to enjoy the experience with the lighting effects at night and then it's back to Living with the Land where the Christmas overlay at night does not disappoint.
We finish the day back at the resort with a tasty and great value meal at Boatwrights Dining Hall.

You two are a nightmare! Yet again we've been saying to each other, "That's it - we're done with Orlando!", and then we watch your vlogs and find ourselves researching a trip for our 30th wedding anniversary in late 2025. The local tourist board should be paying you commission 😄
We actually arrived in Orlando on January 8th this year so it'll be fascinating to see how your experience compared to ours, given the weather.

Journey of water is a totally different experience at night, Epcot used to be my least favourite, but fast becoming no 1.

I agree with your comment that the Living with the Land with the Christmas overlay is the best ride ever.
Last year I was there in early January, was in the second row behind a cast member. She was video recording the greenhouses - she told us she designed the greenhouse lighting that year.

Living with the Land Christmas overlay is the best! If you haven't tried the Japan quick service, it is well worth it in my opinion, one of my favorite quick service spots (and it is pretty in the night!).
Its so cool and we definitely need to try the quick serve in Japan. Its such a cool area
Loved your review of The American Experience. You know, if the end of the story had turned out differently, you wouldn’t need a passport to visit Florida. 😂😂😂. Food bills a bit lower this trip. Minus two mouths to feed. But we miss them! Take care as always lovely Cheers Ears! ❤️🌈

I was there for Festival of the Holidays in 2022 and the Christmas overlay on Living with the Land was hands down the best overlay of all the parks, including the overlays at MK for the christmas party. Loved it so much

Did you even play with an infinity gauntlet if you didn't make it non-PG 😂!!! We have the Thanos and Iron Man ones at home and that's the first thing my Husband did with both 😂😂!

Hii, wow nice & easy entry into Epcot & great wait time for Soarin' as with the other rides too. That early access is so valuable. There's so many great bits & pieces in Creations? 🙌😊 Love the Moana area, its really cool & I wouldn't want to leave it either 😛ha! Ooh that Norway snack looked blumin' lovely. Such quirky stuff in the China Pavillion. Wow the Moana & Living with the Land areas look even more amazing at night. x

Great vlog - just wish we didn't have to wait a week until the next one :( interesting what you said about the American Adventure "show" in epcot - the first time I saw it - back in 1987 - it blew me away but it seems a bit stale now (in my opinion) but o do like the music at the end which I believe is called on golden dream' or something like that!

was thinking of planning a trip for end of january but youve scared me now with this cold talk! :( Are we talking winter-coat-cold? or just nippy in the mornings and nights with a fleece?
It was really cold on some occasions so bring a big coat. Tracey was in need of a new winter coat so she got one when we were there and she needed it too.

hi keith and tracy I still don´t understand why people doesn´t understand your name Keith is not a difficult one and I also love living with the land at night with the christmas decorations, I also think the show at the America pavilion can improve I think they can make it with real people and can be more interactive like the fairy tale with belle at Mk 🐊
