Your channel is a hidden gem. You got crazy potential! A video idea for you: Could be a fun idea.. to maybe make a series where you get ideas from your subscribers and create a custom fragrances?? I have got this one fragrance I bought from saudi along time ago... I was given the pure scented oil in a vile and its got to be by far my favourite fragrance of all time. Unfortunately its about to finish so Im trying hard to get a perfume similar to it but whoever smells it in the perfume shop says its super unique! It opens up with smell of strong fresh, soapy & minty cardamom and mellows down to a beautiful floral note... of lavender and jasmine. Anyways, great work so far! you've earned a loyal subscriber :)
Thank you. That sounds like a lovely fragrance. One day I will perhaps be skilled enough to make custom fragrances. Until then, I’ll keep practicing. 😊
I hope that you will continue to inform us of the lines and fragrances of all international brands. I do what you do and I find an incredible match between what I do and the brands. Thank you.
I LOVE this concept in your channel I just found it. I’ve been thinking about getting into crafting fragrances this is a great nudge in the direction for me
Used Musk Ketone (slightly lower dose) instead of Muscenone and a touch of Kephalis instead of Azarbre. Smells very nice. White Musk and Vanilla scent, but the nuances of the of the florals and fruits/citruses really improve the scent.
Love watching your videos. I recently purchased Dolce & Gabbana’s “The One for Men”formula from labtorium. Have you tried this one? I was also looking at creative formulas but not sure if labtorium is the better place to purchase from. I’m missing about 12 of the 55 ingredients in the list. I can find all but one. I’m questioning some of the ingredients in the list and surprised to see no basil as an ingredient. I would love to hear your thoughts on this formula from labtorium. 😊
I don’t have the Labtorium formula for The One. I do have the CF version, but it’s been an awhile since I’ve made it. I remember it smelling good, though quite different than the EDT. I’m due to try again soon.
Hy Ryan Im very impressed of your Setup and i have a question please. First of all you have a great working space and a amazing collection. How long realy is the durability of raw materials in your opinion? Dont you worry, that youll have to trough them away one day? All the best Aleks
I do worry! Shelf life for raw materials is typically between 12 and 36 months. Some materials last forever (or, people argue that the last forever - e.g. Sandalwood). About a year ago, I started pre-treating my ethanol with a little BHT to help my dilutions last a little longer. This has helped immensely! I've also started keeping most of my raw materials refrigerated.
Hello Ryan, is it possible to help, with one of ur videos, us and talk about the additives most use in perfumery such as preservatives, health care and colours. Then can we decolourize the liquid before adding the desired colour?? Many thanks
I can add it to the list of video ideas. However, it's not possible to decolorize the juice. The juice color will be affected by any colored materials you put into it. However, once created, you can put in colorants.
Awsome stuff here! ... Fraterworks has a lot of formulas which are extremely different to the ones from labtorium or creative-formulas ... side question: which scale are you using? Looking for a new one. Keep it up
@@RyanParfums Thank you for your answer. When you use it, remember me and if possible, tell me more details. Here in Brazil we don't have it and international stores don't export it here. This molecule really caught my attention and I have something in mind for it.
I'm not sure how to answer this. I've diluted benzoin by putting 0.8g in a 10ml bottle, then filling the bottle with another 7.2g ethanol. The dilution works very well.
Same here. 10% dilution does take a while to fully dissolve, but dilutes just fine. If you are going above 10%, lower it. Or it’s a purity issue with your benzoin.
Brother the other day you worked on Aventus type formula. I haven’t smelled aventus. What type of musk do you see in base? I have smelled club de nuit intense and it has a long lasting base with marine type freshness ( what type of musk can it be ? )
The formula I have contains two musks in Aventus: Ambrettolide and Helvetolide. However, I read somewhere that the real Aventus contains a captive musk. I don’t know if this is true or not, or if said musk is still captive.
@@RyanParfums Have you tried smelling Armaf club de nuit intense? i am looking for something like that in the end - on paper strip after an hour. Thanks and regards
My interest with this always was - its so light and skin scent-y, but it literally lasts 12+ hours on my skin, its insane

Yes! Glad to see a new vid. Absolutely love this channel
Love this channel. As a beginner perfumer. This helps so much in creating my own formulas, it creates examples of what to add
I'm glad you're enjoying it!

Interesting subs. Thank you for sharing!
please make a chanel platinum egoiste, it would be amazing
I will search for a formula

Hi Ryan, I am enjoying your videos a lot, could you make a tobacco fragrance?
I'll look for a formula :-)

@@RyanParfums thats a great Advice thank you. Is this only relevant for diluted Materials or also in the 100% Form of the Aroma Chemicals?

A 200g - 0.001g Bonvoisin analytical lab I bought on Amazon. It’s treated me well :-)

Ryan, what do you think about Geosmin?
I think it is a very unique smell. However, I haven't worked with it yet in any formulas, so I can't speak with experience about using it in blends.

Cashmeran has that patchouli-style earthy mustiness on skin, right!? It's so different from the strip.
I’ll have to revisit it, but mustiness does come to mind.
hi
maybe you could recreate the formula of the bestseller dior sauvage edt?
to interesting
If I find a GCMS analysis of it, I will.
Q :- Rayn Which perfume after making you surprised 😮 OOhh.. its 100% similar to Original ?
There are a few: Opium, Fahrenheit, GIT, Terre d’Hermes…
I like the "hey friends welcome back" intro better, because it makes me feel like I am with you in the room. The edited intro kinda ruins that.
Noted.
hello, how can I dilute benzoin if I want to make it for tests (in alcohol it forms a caloid cloud)
