Infinite wasn't a real release. It had no distribution. He had to pay to duplicate it himself and sold them out of the trunk of his car. The Slim Shady EP actually had a distributor. That said, album sales now convert streams into album sales numbers. Eminem put infinite up on his Vevo channel. It got hundreds of millions of views. 1 album sale = 10 song downloads = 1500 streams/views. So using the stream equivalent albums ("SEA") formula Infinite actually has well over 130K sales (assuming 200 million views, which would be Eminem's least viewed music video ever by a long shot). So he's still accurate about never selling as bad as MGK even with a demo tape.
You missed the best part ... Killshot is a movie about a character named Carmen Colson is hutned by a killer, and MGK's name is Colson. Coincidentally (yeah right) the diss song was released the same day the character Colson died. You could review this song for 10 years and still not understand everything Eminem did in the 1.5 weeks
~Killshot is also a movie where the main character is called "Colson". Colson is Kelly's middle name. Also, in the movie, Colson was killed by a Police Marshal (Eminem). And the main character got killed on 14th of September(The day that the song was uploaded).~
@@Frinetenic I said that coz y'all stans acting like a diss track has to have double entendres full of rhymes and bars to automatically make you the winner and it's false. Bars don't hold weight over facts
@@MrRop-yp3wt Not every Eminem fan thinks double entendres mean you have the superior diss. Double/Triple entendres can and usually do, pack a bigger punch when you can fit multiple different disses into one line. That's why I think Eminems diss track is good, not because 'oH bOy ThAt WaS gOoD'. Not every Eminem fan is a die hard stan, when someone Disses him and they actually had substance to their diss, link me it, I'll let you know he lost personally lmao.
Kamikaze’s were first used against the US at Pearl Harbor. Afterwards, a Japanese admiral stated, “we have awoken the sleeping giant.” In kill shot, Eminem’s says, “the giants woke, eyes open, undeniable,” which follows his album kamikaze. Just throwing that out there.
There were layers to this song before it was even released: -Eminem did a 7 minute video playing Pac Man. -Eminem releases the track "Killshot" 7 days after Pac got shot, towards someone with Pac Man tattoos. -One of Pac's albums is called: The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. -Killshot is also the name of a movie where the main character "Colson" gets shot down by an experienced gunner; MGK's middle name is Colson. -At the end of the track, Eminem talks about the call that got Pac shot and killed. And for those who think I'm reaching by trying to tie together all these dates and numbers, take this line for example: "Say you got me in a scope, but you grazed me I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze" "Meaning if he called Interscope he'd dissapear" "Swayze" is synonym for "Ghost" and "gone/disappear" "Ghost" was a 1990 movie with Patrick Swayze, who's character is murdered and is left to roam the earth as a powerless spirit. Killshot was released on the anniversary of Patrick Swayze's Death (September 14th, 2009) MGK refers to himself as the Ghost of the future.Patrick Swayze was in a movie called Ghost, but also died on September 14th (release date of Killshot). And there was also a rapper called Shwayze who was essentially a one-hit wonder (if even that). Em played pacman on instagram for 7mins thinking of a masterplan dissing a kid with pac man tattoo's--releasing it 7 days after pac died. Also I found this: B311 easter egg - Lethal injection go to sleep [6] feet deep. I give you a [B] for the effort but if I was [3] foot [11] you'd look up to me... It may be a coincidence but if you google 6B311, there is a flight from Stockholm to Rhodes (Greece) and 2 dates: previous was: 14th September (killshot release) next is: 21st September (MGK new album) Stockholm -- stalk home.Who was stalking em at his home? Stan 2 = mathew coincidence? Also stockholm is home to Alfred noble.Famous Gun Manufacturer. Also if we push it, the flight company is TUIfly Nordic / Eminem is on his Nordic Track. There are plenty more like the Lox and jadakiss (jade a kiss hailey jade) one(insane wordplay just search it).Lox is a hairstyle which MGK used/uses + lox is a rap group and jadakiss is the name of one of their folks.Jadakiss is actually known as kiss of death as well. "Rihanna just hit me on the text Last night I left hickeys on her neck" (Referring to MGK's diss track where he said Eminem is too afraid to ask for her number) -"Insult me in a line, compliment me on the next" (Mgk kept complimenting Eminem like a fanboy) -"Was watchin' 8 Mile on my NordicTrac" (MGK said the only time Eminem saw 8 mile was at his treadmill, Eminem confirms saying he saw it at his NordicTrack which is the most expensive treadmill) -"Realized I forgot to call you back Here's that autograph for your daughter, I wrote it on a Starter cap" (Stan reference, How MGK is just a bitter fan who never got his idol's attention) -"But how you gonna name yourself after a damn gun And have a man-bun?: (No need to explain that) -"Say you got me in a scope, but you grazed me I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze" (Swayze here is a synonym of Ghost, Meaning Eminem says how his one call can make MGK disappear from Interscope) -"But I'm 45 and I'm still outselling you" (No need to explain) -"But you're a fuckin' mole hill Now I'ma make a mountain out of you, woo!" (Em by calling MGK a molehill /someone relatively unimportant, Says he will make a mountain out of him /giving him undeserved attention) -"Gunner? Bitch, you ain't a bow and arrow" (MGK named himself after a gun but Eminem thinks he is nothing, not even a bow and arrow) -"Playin' dead, spraying lead that's the only time you hold still" (MGK calls himself a gunner and a gunner holds still while aiming but Eminem says MGK is nothing. He says the only time you hold still is while you play dead) -"Are you eating cereal or oatmeal? What the fuck's in the bowl, milk? Wheaties or Cheerios? 'Cause I'm takin' a shit in 'em, Kelly, I need reading material …Dictionary…" (In MGK's diss he says all Eminem does is stay inside and read a dictionary, MGK is also something out of a bowl in his video, which completely unrelated to the video) -"Luxury, oh, you broke, bitch? Yeah, I had enough money in '02 To burn it in front of you, ho Younger me? No, you're the whack me, it's funny but so true I'd rather be 80-year-old me than 20-year-old you" (Eminem was way ahead of MGK at his age and still is way ahead of MGK) -"Got more fans than you in your own city, lil' kiddy, go play" (No need to explain) -"Shootin' a video just to fuckin' dig your own grave" (MGK is holding a shovel in his diss track video, Eminem says he is digging his own grave by shooting that video) -"Kelly, they'll be putting your name Next to Ja, next to Benzino-die, motherfucker! Like the last motherfucker sayin' Hailie in vain" (Eminem says the only list where MGK's name will be is the list of rappers whose career Eminem has ended) -"My biggest flops are your greatest hits" (No need to explain) -"The game's mine again and ain't nothin' changed but the locks So before I slay this bitch I, mwah, give Jade a kiss" (Eminem shouts out the rapper Jadakiss who is in a rap group named LOX, He also talks about Hailie as her middle name is "Jade") -"Bein' rich-shamed by some prick usin' my name for clickbait In a state of bliss 'cause I said his goddamn name" (MGK clickbaited Eminem's name to get views on his diss track) -"This is it, as big as you're gonna get, so enjoy it Had to give you a career to destroy it" (No need to explain) -"But if I was three foot 11 You'd look up to me, and for the record You would suck a dick to fuckin' be me for a second" (Eminem says even if he was 3 foot 11, MGK would still look up to him, Referring to MGK's diss where he says he is taller than Eminem) -"How the fuck can him and I battle? He'll have to fuck Kim in my flannel I'll give him my sandals 'Cause he knows long as I'm Shady, he's gon' have to live in my shadow" (Em claims that MGK would have to be fucking Kim, before he was a real threat to Em. But in order to fuck Kim, MGK would have to be even more of an Eminem wannabe than he already is, literally wearing his clothing. Em suggests that he’ll help MGK out in this department, even giving him his sandals. This is also possibly a reference to the “Rap Devil” video in which MGK can be seen wearing sandals with socks. Em is also be saying that as long as he’s ‘shading’) MGK, the younger rapper will remain well below him "in his shadow") -"You're fuckin' salty 'Cause Young Gerald's balls-deep inside of Halsey" (Eminem says MGK is salty about how his ex Halsey is getting banged by the rapper G Easy) -"Who else want it, Kells? Attempt fails, Budden, L's Fuckin' nails in these coffins as soft as Cottonelle" (Eminem likens his enemies' insults to an impotent attempt at a burial, where the proverbial closing of his coffin is carried out with Cottonelleproducts-a company known for its toilet paper and flushable wipes.) -"But, Kells, the day you put out a hit's the day Diddy admits That he put the hit out that got Pac killed, ah!" (Em says the day you make a hit will be the day "Diddy" = MGK's boss will admit that he got Tupac killed (which he never will).Remember pacman (pac man) reference on his instagram? Also! goof means child predator in canada. That goof line is intentional by em? This was only a warning from Eminem, The fish earring with the rose in its mouth on Mgk, if you look closely! The Mafia uses that to Warn an enemy, leaving it at their front door
It's already been a year!!!!! I told myself that I wouldn't miss any bars anymore!!! I've seen almost every reaction video and breakdown and went to genius and read a lot of comments about this beef and there are still hidden meanings!! Goddammit
He didn't write it in 13mins it was a meme made by a stan. Even copying this directly from genius takes longer than that. This shit is like 2 full A4 pages
things you need to understand em's lyrics: knowledge on movies knowledge on the rap scene knowledge on celebrities knowledge on his other/past songs internet books and of course dictionary
Time Speed meaning MGKs lines were simple and if you tried you might be able to find a double meaning on it. Eminem has one bar that looks simple but has 3 different meanings at once
Killshot actually refers to a movie from the 90s, called Killshot. The main character who's name is Colson gets killed in it. Colson is MGK's actual first name.
ATNGamerz! also the 14th of September is when Patrick Swayze died in real life I believe(it was sometime in September), Em says he could make MGK "Swayze" with one call.
Captain Levi yeah, there's a ton of subliminal things even before the track starts. If you know some indepth cultural or media things that Em talks about. Very funny stuff if you do know it. XD Killshot was from the 2000s I guess, it just feels like it was longer ago to me XD but none the less, same thing applies still about it.
Aha did you see MGKs “interview” with people clearly payed off to be on his side? He says that Eminem’s only good line was “I’d rather be 80 year old me than 20 year old you”, he’s either acting hard or just doesn’t understand the rest of the diss lol
Luke Rowe idk about paid off but he purposely chose to interview with people who he knew would take his side...he knew talking to Charlemagne was safe since em had dissed him as well on kamikaze. Kind of a bitch move for mgk and he looked really insecure the whole time. “You’re talking about a man bun and I’m talking facts” Opening line of rap devil: “This beard is weird”
It seems like MGK is more about shock than message while Em can do both, but loves putting messages in the shock. That's why Eminem has so much replay value.
The line where he calls MGK a goof is alot bigger than people think. Here in Detroit Goof is a term used to describe Sex offenders or Child Preds. It was Canadian slang for that and we are literally across a river from Canada so it got picked up here. So when he's calling Kelly a goof. He's calling him a Child Predator. Sick line if you know the meaning. So it's not just goof as in weird
@@kevinvaught7552 You need to get onto Marvel asap mate, you're missing out! Colson is in the Avengers....or maybe you e seen Agents of Shield? Come on now......
I just realized also also also the Lil Tay line is saying that he’s fraudulent because everything Lil Tay was flexing was fake. THIS SONG IS LIKE AN ONION SO MANY LAYERS
Killshot is also a movie where the main character is called "colson". Colson is Kelly's middle name. And the main character got killed on 14th of september.
I like that last line as well “oh and I’m just playing Diddy, you know I love you” It’s a call back to his ending on his song Kill You where he says “I’m just playing ladies, you know I love you”
Eminem absolutely destroyed MGK. Pretty much took every line from MGK’s diss track and debunked everything, plus make MGK look like a fool in the process.
He really didn't, he debunked like 1 little thing, but the rest was just responses, not debunkings. I keep seeing people saying the same thing everywhere but it's not true.
@@daytonraught629 I wouldn't agree with that either, Id say he moreso just twisted some of mgks lines to kinda shoot back at him. Which isnt bad I'm just saying
1. MGK isn't a mumble rapper. 2. He hasn't had that man-bun in years. 3. He didn't address blackballing MGK. 4. When you got to use the "more money and sales" argument, considering he's got 20 years on MGK, he already lost.
You forgot to mention the fact that the name “Killshot” is from a 2008 movie about a rookie sniper whose last name was Colson getting killed by a veteran, experienced sniper. And also the fact that this beat is part of the instrumental for Rap Devil played in reverse.
Well I commented this on the other video, but this video is everything there is to explain. I've read a lot of comments sayng MGK's diss was superior and Killshot was weak. The only way anyone can come to that conclusion is because they don't understand the level of depth and dexterity of Em's lyrics. MGK used playground insults that were one dimensional. I only had to listen to that diss once. Killshot on the other hand is dense. There's more depth every time I listen to it. True fans of Hip-hop will favor the word-smithing over easy to understand lyrics. Em's lyrics speak true to the game and each bar has several meanings to it which demolishes anything MGK had to say. This isn't a matter of opinion at this point, it's a straight fact.
You are right, but this looks like the “To be fair, you have to have a high IQ to understand Rick and Morty” copypasta. It’s better cuz he responded with more word ammo than MGK, nothing is too lyrical and deep on Killshot compared to Rap Devil. That’s not to say that Rap Devil is better, but that Killshot is just slightly above Rap Devil with lyricism.
Bumblebuddy5051 -ButtBuddyJr. Where are the double and triple entendres on rap devil huh? Where is the skilled word play? Some things are harder to understand, that’s a fact. Kill shot is undeniably more intelligent than rap devil.
Alan Parana I wasn’t playing devil’s advocate, so I don’t know why you would ask me that, as if I was calling the diss track trash. Of course Em was smarter with the wordplay on Killshot, but it wasn’t as lyrical as his old diss tracks were.
Also Swayze is a reference to "ghost of the future" and Swayze died on September 14th, the same day killshot released on a different year. Patrick Swayze played a ghost in the movie, and he's dead so...
egregious arts thank you for mentioning that, I can't figure out why Patrick swayze was caught in Em's dies track. I mean, you can't just mention a Guy's name with the diss track's date with it without any other context or message. I saw comments about Em mentioning swayze and September 14th but I didn't knew what swayze's death had to do with MGK
This is hands down the best break down video I have ever seen and probably will ever see. I am a subscriber and a fan now. First video of your's and I'm sold. Well done, man.
Jadakiss also means *Kiss of death* and Jadakiss the rapper, also has a track titled *Kiss of death* *also.....* KILLSHOT is a reference to a 2008 movie *KILLSHOT* that has a lead character named *COLSON* which is also MGK name
You missed a reference with the ‘jade a kiss’ bit!! Jadakiss made a song called Kiss of Death.. the amount of meanings eminem can make out of one line is amazing
facts!!! this is the true essence of hip hop. I always think the lyrics are far superior than beats. I had to listen to KS 3 times to get around it. thats how meaty this track is. theres always soemthing ot discover. thats why mumble rappers are nothing but a freakshow, a fad. theyre all about beats, no content. they can never outlast someone like Em and Dr. Dre.
You missed the part where MGK is "Pac" ( pacman tattoo) and Diddy DID put out the "Hit" (Rap Devil) that got "Pac" (Pacman) killed..... #Layers... You're welcome....
Jesus 42 Chip Fu and Chali 2na never went diamond and are two of the greatest rappers ever. Everyone from Krayzie Bone to Twista and Tech 9ine, or even Busta, is directly influenced by Chip Fu.
@@jedphillips182 I think Jadakiss has a song called "Kiss of Death" or something and also, Eminem said "The GAME'S mine again", there's a character in a "GAME" Mortal Combat named Jade with the special move kiss of death so if MGK kissed Jade (Hailey) he would die and an even better entendre, the only time MGK will get to kiss Hailey Jade is when he's gonna die and he's gonna kiss Hailey good-bye
James Trill-green apparently he’s already done, but he thinks he won. He said he isn’t gonna respond to “Killshot” (clearly cuz he scared of the outcome of that and has no comebacks) but he actually thinks he won this battle
topple i saw that. The interview he was in recently right?! He dead looked like a sore loser or something. He tried so hard to convince that it was cuz he had no energy or something to write another diss.
This video needs to go viral that way every bar that went over stupid people's head can finally understand the magnitude of the W that Eminem just took.
Also, also, also a satanist worships billy goats. Em calls himself the Billy Goat here and calls MGK a satanist after the Rap Devil track. You can hear it right before the line “My biggest flops are your greatest hits.”
Devin Cameron satanists worship Satan, hence the name. Satan is known to have the form of a humaized goat. so, still worshiping Em cause he the GOAT pretty much.
To anyone who didn't get Eminem's diss track this is why Em won. Share this with all those who didn't get it. Eminem's lyrics are sometimes so incredibly genius that simple minded people just can't grasp it.
We absolutely got his diss. He definitely dropped money into gathering history. Track was fire, but a real MC would have responded within a week from the heart. Em is a beast, but he got beat. Kelly let him know that all of his accomplishments we're due to help from Dre. I would love to see this battle go to round 2.
That swayze line had more to it. Patrick Swayze died on September 14 (same date as the release of killshot). Furthermore, Killshot is a movie, where Carmen Colson gets terrorized by an intelligent psychopathic killer. Colson is MGK's name.
This was what I was looking for. In the movie ‘Killshot’ Colson got gunned by a more experienced gunner. Even though this guy explained the diss almost perfectly, there were still hidden disses that even he didn’t recognized.
I'm almost Eminem's age, so he might have thrown in one more meaning for "billy goat" that younger people might not recognize. In early 90's, a "billy goat" was computer nerd slang term for the more senior member(s) of an online user group who often kept the "troll" users at bay. These were often system administrators, which have god-like powers over the computers they manage. Such persons were also often called "gnomes" or "lawn dwarves" because of the wizard-like beards they would have, and actually billy goats (the animal) do have similar "beards" of facial hair. The origin of this slang reference to tech gurus could be from the children's story of "The Three Billy Goats Gruff", where a troll living under a bridge attempts to eat goats that cross it, and by some trickery the smaller goats convince the troll to wait for the bigger goat to come along. The bigger goat is confronted by the troll, but the goat totally destroys the troll.
Eminem is such an insane lyricist. His songs are filled with so many things you can never catch it only listening to it a few times. His revival album was really good but people just didn't listen to it long enough to see the message he was trying to convey.
Yeah, i hate how some people say that Revival is bad just because people say that, when they haven’t even properly listened to it.. SMH🤦🏻♂️. It was actually pretty good.. not the best, but it was good.
Azooz B I think people nowadays listen to so much of that mumble rap that their brains are fried. Mumble rap is not hip hop, it's nonsense for idiots who cannot understand real lyrics.
Did you watch this video to help convince yourself that Kill Shot was better than Rap Devil? Rap Devil is actually very catchy for a song which I cant stop watching daily unlike Em's which has nothing to watch and as a song not that good.
You missed 10:44 Eminem referenced a scene in the music video of stan where the stan was looking at the mirror with blonde hair and earrings trying to be like eminem.
"Go to Sleep six feet deep, I'll give you a B for the effort" Reference to Eminem's diss track on Benzino "Go to Sleep" & Ja Rules Track "6 feet Underground"
also..from the line 6 feet deep...I'll give you a B for the effort and 3 foot eleven..... combine this you get 6B3 which is an armour...so even if mgk calls himself the gunner...em is fully loaded.....
He missed that the ill give you a b for the effort.... also meaning I'll actually respond I'll beef with you for the effort. So people just think he means b as a grade they didnt hear the layers.
I am a hardcore mgk fan, and honestly I don’t know how to feel. Killshot was really good, but I just can’t bring myself to say Eminem won, I feel like I’m betraying my fandom lmao
I was always a fan of this song but didn't appreciate all the word play until now. I caught some but after this vid and reading the comments about the movie references, this song is AMAZING!!
Also Killshot was a movie about a character with the same name as machine gun Kelly’s real name, also also this was released on Patrick Swayze’s death anniversary which is a call to the Swayze line in the track. Also also also it was released the day after 2Pac’s death anniversary and considering that line about Diddy, I doubt that was an accident. There are so many layers in this song it’s unreal! And I thought I had caught them all until I watched this!
Yooo m9nd fucking blown Eminem is a fucking genius these dumbass kids don't know how fucking smart this guy is when they saying his track was shit. Smh Eminem is a fucking goddd
*"I had enough money in 02 to burn it in front of you Ho"* - Flexing his cash, saying he has enough extra/spare money in 2002 to burn it all = to MGK's entire worth like it's nothing. Hard diss -02' = O2, as in Oxygen which is purely and very flammable, and Ho, which is a metal that is very flammable. So amazing chemical wordplay incorporated there very subtly and easily. 1 bar, 1 diss, 1 wordplay, 1 hidden meaning > MGK's entire "diss" track
Alex Merezas This is Eminem where his wordplay is on different levels. I saw someone else explain this a lot better so I just rephrased it, i might've messed up but there is some chemistry wordplay packed into a diss
Alex Merezas “had enough money in 02 to burn it in front of you” he doesnt say that the oxygen does the burning. Its a pretty commonly known fact that fire needs oxygen to keep burning so he wouldnt have to be a chemistry nerd to know that
One of my friends thought even after a year this diss came out that MGK won. His reasoning was because MGK can beat up Eminem, and he had the balls to diss Em in the first place...which contradicts his whole reasoning. I tried explaining these double meaning and he hopped on his video game and ignored what I had to say
Christopher Hodges he’s actually conservative, that’s why I’m friends with him. Plus he turned me into an introverted extrovert when I used to just fully be introverted. I thought he’d understand cuz he’s the only one trying to convince his druggy friends to save their money and do something better with their lives so I know he has some common sense.
ALSO, Killshot is the name of a movie who's main actors name is Colson, which happens to be MGk's middle name. Get this.... the movie actor died September 14th, the day Eminem dropped the diss track. Eminem has littered his comeback with layers of complexity.
Sounds poetic and all but it's inaccurate - Thomas Jane played "Wayne Colson" and Diane Lane played his wife, "Carmen Colson" in the film "Killshot". Neither character dies in the film and both actors are still living in real life
@@ripdajacker23 yes they are wrong about that because they got it mixed up. Killshot is obviously referring to the movie and colson. The swaze verse is referencing patrick swaze who played in ghost and did die on September 14th the day this track dropped. It's so much to this track its confusing people. He says ill get you swaze, ghost
Finally!!! Someone who actually broke this down correctly!! Shit! About time!! All the other rap breakdown reviews were so wack! They missed over 80% of the disses, play on words, double meanings, etc. You Sir earned my respect. Glad you got the Warning/Killshot reference too. Goes deeper tho with Killshot movie Colson was the character going to witness protection which is also MGK real name. Hope people understand the perplexity of Em’s rap music and why he is considered to be the GOAT. These kids needs to wake up and appreciate they’re in the presence of rap royalty. Rap God...there’s a reason the most notable rappers in history don’t go after him. One out of respect and two they like to keep their careers.
@@Tru3Spart3n he missed the swaze verse. I mean he knew it was get em gone. But ghost the movie Patrick swaze ghost and the track dropped on the day swaze died
@@BigDirtDawg he missed the beef/beat line he missed the fact that the title is a reference to a movie where the main character has the name Colson and is hunted and killed by an assassin he also missed another meaning of the locks line just off the top of my head that's what I recognized
notice that ”damn, im really sorry you want me to have a heart attack is the same line as in stan ”look, im really flattered you would call your daugther that”
See this is why em wins. A real diss makes you think, dissect, connect the dots and discover the messages being said, which leads you deeper into even more references and messages. See mgks diss was all on the surface, and repetitive and had no deeper meanings to dissect. Em says one line, and in that line he disses you in ten different ways. That's why he's the GOAT.
Robert Trnka And that’s why you have dumb fucks saying MGK diss was better cuz they too lazy and too stupid to understand EM multi layer disses. I just don’t want the dumb fucks to out weigh the real fans of hip hop. Cuz all I been seeing on comments on Instagram is MGK won even on Royce Instagram
MGK had a few deeper digs. The beard line is deeper than many think. But yeah, it was mostly him calling Em old and being a jelly shitter while having a filler hook. Just comparing the lyric sheets shows who is running this.
Butter Johnson Yeah Till we grow beards get weird and disappear into the mountains, nothing but clowns round here. But I don’t think MGK was even being that deep since he said he dresses better then EM and looks better so when he said his beard his weird was prolly just for looks
one of the small things I love from Eminem on this track is the attention to detail (like always). Take the ‘I had enough money in 02’ to burn it in front of you,ho’ line. Great line in the scheme and a good shot but- 02=Oxygen=needed to create fire/burn something. Crazy.
He also means to say that he can rap so fast and has saved so much oxygen by not breathing that he can spare cash and oxygen to burn it in front of him.
That Hailie in vain / Alien Brain / Satanist combo is going over people's heads as well. Saying God's name in vain is heretical and sinful (something a Satanist might do), in the same way Em is comparing using Hailie in that manner to being a disrespectful, irreligious Satanist. That is some cold stuff right there.
@@jeffree6996 If it was as obvious as you assert it is, many of the reactors would have already mentioned it because they have pointed out way more obvious things.
When you compare this diss track to Em’s other diss tracks (bully, nail in the coffin, can I b*itch) Yeah I totally agree, Em didn’t even warm up for this diss, and if MGK was stooopid enough to respond, I reckon we’ll see next level Eminem diss that will put all previous Em diss tracks to shame

You forgot that the title “Killshot” is also a reference to Eminem’s song “Kill You” from the Marshall Mathers LP. At the end of “Kill You” the music stops and Eminem says “I’m just playin’, ladies, you know I love you.” And at the end of Killshot the music stops and Eminem says “you know I’m just playin’, diddy, you know I love you.” ALSO ALSO, “Kill You” is about killing sluts-hence implying MGK is nothing but a slut, which he is lol
i thought the title "KILLSHOT" is a reference to the movie killshot, where the main character named "Colson" (which is also MGK's real name) was killed by a professional gunman. also also.. in the movie, carmen colson died in september 14th. the same day eminem released the disstrack.. crazy.
ThjyuGaming: For instance that a "rambo out of bullets" and "machine gun out of ammo" is referencing the viewpoint that MGK wouldn't have any more things to say for a second round as he said everything he could say in rap devil.
Also also also also . . . . also also also . . . also also also . . also also also . . . . . also also also . . . . . also also also . . *rest in pieces MGK* .
I haven’t seen anyone yet acknowledge that KILLSHOT was a movie that came out in 2008 staring a character named after mgk that was targeted by an experienced hit man. Em thought this out.
The mastery of this track by em is just too great for the average mind to even comprehend. He's literally so far ahead of everybody that most can't even see what he just did.
Daniel Fatone There are literally entire videos dedicated to explaining this shit, and people are explaining it in this very comments section. Is reading and listening too hard for you?
Yet they will say... Em won for rap but MGK won for beat? hahah that is irrelevant... Eminem's focus was to obliterate MGK... kept the beat sparse and dark. Perfection!
theres one thing your missing about the two rap songs. one song was about a personal experience, a fan let down, a fellow artist betrayed, a song that hit deep because it exposed so many things about Em who we love. Also the main thing is that most Em fans like myself have been very let down since Encore. thats almost 15 years ago! so that made it even more relatible, much like how ems work in the past was more relatable then his pity rich guy rap today. Now on the other hand you have Ems diss to Kelly in which Em basically used complicate wordplay and superior rapping ability by far, but all you are saying is that you are more popular, richer, better rapper, and hes a fan. The problem i have is that basically we knew all that already, and MGK even stated all of that already, so why is it such a great diss? simply because of the intelect behind the wordplay? In a regular rap battle like face to face i understand Ems style... but in this situation Em was being called out from the views of a fan who loved him and started rapping because of him. so as hateful as MGK diss appears, its almost like a disappointed child, kinda like listening to the old EM talk about His own "parent" his Mom. I always judge a rap beef on which rapper was exposed and was cut the deepest. Remember Em had already spoken about his past project being disappointing and that he was always under pressure to produce without Dre. So MGK's points were are things that Em was insecure about. But Ems reply was just " i sold more records then you, and im richer, and let me make a couple petty jokes about you being a fan" . But Em thats how all us fans felt, including yourself when you admitted it. So basically he opened a scar and made you release a song knowing it would help his popularity as you admitted to sway. But he hurt you pride so bad. Now do we think Em really hurt MGK? I hear alot of people saying he killed MGK RIP. By saying he was a fan? and that your more successful, wtf has happen to the hip hop community. First we say Drake killed Meek because he said his girlfriend was richer and more famous.... We all know the worst thing you can say about a man is that his woman is rich and famous how horrible of a diss? lol come on. Now Em calls somebody a fan and were going nuts because of his amazing wordplay? what about the issues he got called out on? smh blind witness dont know shit about hip hop

@@souprise4522 true, but Eminem has said that people read his lyrics and come up with things he wasn't even thinking about when he wrote it, though it does fit, and sometimes he will go along with it, because it makes the lines sound even better. Eminem’s worst album sold 267,000 copies
MGKs best album sold 56,000 copies
Just let that sink in
Infinite sold 1000 copies (just for knowledge)
Still Entire mkj is trash is trash in front of INFINITE....
@@saulgoodman6361 Infinite was before EMINEM got signed by Dr. Dre, so of course it wouldn't sell as well
Saul Goodman that was Eminem’s first album
Kelly is nothing compared to eminem
You missed the best part ... Killshot is a movie about a character named Carmen Colson is hutned by a killer, and MGK's name is Colson. Kamikaze’s were first used against the US at Pearl Harbor. Afterwards, a Japanese admiral stated, “we have awoken the sleeping giant.”
In kill shot, Eminem’s says, “the giants woke, eyes open, undeniable,” which follows his album kamikaze. Just throwing that out there.

Kamikaze has been used since August 1281 to refer to the major typhoons that dispersed Mongolian invasion fleets under Kublai Khan in 1274!!!!

There were layers to this song before it was even released:
-Eminem did a 7 minute video playing Pac Man.
And for those who think I'm reaching by trying to tie together all these dates and numbers, take this line for example:
"Say you got me in a scope, but you grazed me
I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze"
"Meaning if he called Interscope he'd dissapear"
"Swayze" is synonym for "Ghost" and "gone/disappear"
"Ghost" was a 1990 movie with Patrick Swayze, who's character is murdered and is left to roam the earth as a powerless spirit.
Killshot was released on the anniversary of Patrick Swayze's Death (September 14th, 2009)
MGK refers to himself as the Ghost of the future.Patrick Swayze was in a movie called Ghost, but also died on September 14th (release date of Killshot). And there was also a rapper called Shwayze who was essentially a one-hit wonder (if even that).
Em played pacman on instagram for 7mins thinking of a masterplan dissing a kid with pac man tattoo's--releasing it 7 days after pac died.
Also I found this:
B311 easter egg - Lethal injection go to sleep [6] feet deep. I give you a [B] for the effort but if I was [3] foot [11] you'd look up to me...
It may be a coincidence but if you google 6B311, there is a flight from Stockholm to Rhodes (Greece) and 2 dates:
previous was: 14th September (killshot release)
next is: 21st September (MGK new album)
Stockholm -- stalk home.Who was stalking em at his home? Stan 2 = mathew coincidence? Also stockholm is home to Alfred noble.Famous Gun Manufacturer.
Also if we push it, the flight company is TUIfly Nordic / Eminem is on his Nordic Track. There are plenty more like the Lox and jadakiss (jade a kiss hailey jade) one(insane wordplay just search it).Lox is a hairstyle which MGK used/uses + lox is a rap group and jadakiss is the name of one of their folks.Jadakiss is actually known as kiss of death as well.
"Rihanna just hit me on the text
Last night I left hickeys on her neck"
(Referring to MGK's diss track where he said Eminem is too afraid to ask for her number)
-"Insult me in a line, compliment me on the next"
(Mgk kept complimenting Eminem like a fanboy)
-"Was watchin' 8 Mile on my NordicTrac"
(MGK said the only time Eminem saw 8 mile was at his treadmill, Eminem confirms saying he saw it at his NordicTrack which is the most expensive treadmill)
-"Realized I forgot to call you back
Here's that autograph for your daughter, I wrote it on a Starter cap"
(Stan reference, How MGK is just a bitter fan who never got his idol's attention)
-"But how you gonna name yourself after a damn gun
And have a man-bun?:
(No need to explain that)
-"Say you got me in a scope, but you grazed me
I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze"
(Swayze here is a synonym of Ghost, Meaning Eminem says how his one call can make MGK disappear from Interscope)
-"But I'm 45 and I'm still outselling you"
(No need to explain)
-"But you're a fuckin' mole hill
Now I'ma make a mountain out of you, woo!"
(Em by calling MGK a molehill /someone relatively unimportant, Says he will make a mountain out of him /giving him undeserved attention)
-"Gunner? Bitch, you ain't a bow and arrow"
(MGK named himself after a gun but Eminem thinks he is nothing, not even a bow and arrow)
-"Playin' dead, spraying lead that's the only time you hold still"
(MGK calls himself a gunner and a gunner holds still while aiming but Eminem says MGK is nothing. He says the only time you hold still is while you play dead)
-"Are you eating cereal or oatmeal?
What the fuck's in the bowl, milk? Wheaties or Cheerios?
'Cause I'm takin' a shit in 'em, Kelly, I need reading material
…Dictionary…"
(In MGK's diss he says all Eminem does is stay inside and read a dictionary, MGK is also something out of a bowl in his video, which completely unrelated to the video)
-"Luxury, oh, you broke, bitch? Yeah, I had enough money in '02
To burn it in front of you, ho
Younger me? No, you're the whack me, it's funny but so true
I'd rather be 80-year-old me than 20-year-old you"
(Eminem was way ahead of MGK at his age and still is way ahead of MGK)
-"Got more fans than you in your own city, lil' kiddy, go play"
(No need to explain)
-"Shootin' a video just to fuckin' dig your own grave"
(MGK is holding a shovel in his diss track video, Eminem says he is digging his own grave by shooting that video)
-"Kelly, they'll be putting your name
Next to Ja, next to Benzino-die, motherfucker!
Like the last motherfucker sayin' Hailie in vain"
(Eminem says the only list where MGK's name will be is the list of rappers whose career Eminem has ended)
-"My biggest flops are your greatest hits"
(No need to explain)
-"The game's mine again and ain't nothin' changed but the locks
So before I slay this bitch I, mwah, give Jade a kiss"
(Eminem shouts out the rapper Jadakiss who is in a rap group named LOX, He also talks about Hailie as her middle name is "Jade")
-"Bein' rich-shamed by some prick usin' my name for clickbait
In a state of bliss 'cause I said his goddamn name"
(MGK clickbaited Eminem's name to get views on his diss track)
-"This is it, as big as you're gonna get, so enjoy it
Had to give you a career to destroy it"
(No need to explain)
-"But if I was three foot 11
You'd look up to me, and for the record
You would suck a dick to fuckin' be me for a second"
(Eminem says even if he was 3 foot 11, MGK would still look up to him, Referring to MGK's diss where he says he is taller than Eminem)
-"How the fuck can him and I battle?
He'll have to fuck Kim in my flannel
I'll give him my sandals
'Cause he knows long as I'm Shady, he's gon' have to live in my shadow"
(Em claims that MGK would have to be fucking Kim, before he was a real threat to Em. Em is also be saying that as long as he’s ‘shading’) MGK, the younger rapper will remain well below him "in his shadow")
-"You're fuckin' salty
'Cause Young Gerald's balls-deep inside of Halsey"
(Eminem says MGK is salty about how his ex Halsey is getting banged by the rapper G Easy)
-"Who else want it, Kells?
Attempt fails, Budden, L's
Fuckin' nails in these coffins as soft as Cottonelle"
(Eminem likens his enemies' insults to an impotent attempt at a burial, where the proverbial closing of his coffin is carried out with Cottonelleproducts-a company known for its toilet paper and flushable wipes.)
-"But, Kells, the day you put out a hit's the day Diddy admits
That he put the hit out that got Pac killed, ah!"
(Em says the day you make a hit will be the day "Diddy" = MGK's boss will admit that he got Tupac killed (which he never will).Remember pacman (pac man) reference on his instagram?

100% agree
You are right, but this looks like the “To be fair, you have to have a high IQ to understand Rick and Morty” copypasta. It’s better cuz he responded with more word ammo than MGK, nothing is too lyrical and deep on Killshot compared to Rap Devil. That’s not to say that Rap Devil is better, but that Killshot is just slightly above Rap Devil with lyricism.
Couldn’t of said it any better!!
I saw comments about Em mentioning swayze and September 14th but I didn't knew what swayze's death had to do with MGK
egregious arts everyone word has a paragraph long backstory on why em chose it and why it’s relevant. Fucking genius.

New drinking game: Take a shot everytime he says "also"
@MrZomBIE16 to be fair it is a common joke
That swayze line had more to it. Patrick Swayze died on September 14 (same date as the release of killshot). Furthermore, Killshot is a movie, where Carmen Colson gets terrorized by an intelligent psychopathic killer. Colson is MGK's name.
Don't forget that one of Swayze's more famous roles was in a little movie called Ghost.
This was what I was looking for. In the movie ‘Killshot’ Colson got gunned by a more experienced gunner.
Even though this guy explained the diss almost perfectly, there were still hidden disses that even he didn’t recognized.

No you want people to try and take out eminem that way he can fucking reck them lol
You deserve more upvotes for this.
Also it’s implied he’s just read him a nursery with the billy goat reference. 🤯
We have internet history over here.

- Flexing his cash, saying he has enough extra/spare money in 2002 to burn it all = to MGK's entire worth like it's nothing. Hard diss
-02' = O2, as in Oxygen which is purely and very flammable, and Ho, which is a metal that is very flammable. So amazing chemical wordplay incorporated there very subtly and easily.
1 bar, 1 diss, 1 wordplay, 1 hidden meaning > MGK's entire "diss" track
nerd rap
Alex Merezas This is Eminem where his wordplay is on different levels. I saw someone else explain this a lot better so I just rephrased it, i might've messed up but there is some chemistry wordplay packed into a diss
Y'all giving the guy WAY too much credit.
Alex Merezas “had enough money in 02 to burn it in front of you” he doesnt say that the oxygen does the burning. Its a pretty commonly known fact that fire needs oxygen to keep burning so he wouldnt have to be a chemistry nerd to know that
The O2 thing is possible, but Ho is a stretch
One of my friends thought even after a year this diss came out that MGK won. His reasoning was because MGK can beat up Eminem, and he had the balls to diss Em in the first place...which contradicts his whole reasoning. ALSO, Killshot is the name of a movie who's main actors name is Colson, which happens to be MGk's middle name. Get this.... the movie actor died September 14th, the day Eminem dropped the diss track. Eminem has littered his comeback with layers of complexity.
So many layers that the kids can't grasp what they just heard lmao.
The ones who says Mgk is better aren’t rap enthusiasts. They listen to mumble rap and say it’s good.
MGK had a few deeper digs. The beard line is deeper than many think.

Also, alot of sentences have multiple meanings
Daniel Fatone There are literally entire videos dedicated to explaining this shit, and people are explaining it in this very comments section. Is reading and listening too hard for you?
For real

"Got me in the scope but you grazed me". Is a goat line because feeding the goat is putting them out to graze
genius
@K A you can't read too much into a line. You can over think it but he hasn't released a definite explanation so people are ok to interpret it whichever way they want
@@souprise4522 true, but Eminem has said that people read his lyrics and come up with things he wasn't even thinking about when he wrote it, though it does fit, and sometimes he will go along with it, because it makes the lines sound even better. Just go on genius and read some of his annotations on his lyrics.
+Mr. G I would say that about Rap devil more than this song and I can probably call MGK saying he meant that after reading Genius annotations
@K A no such thing when dealing with Eminem.
