You joke but it really is a cat and mouse game. People make cheats, devs make anti-cheat, cheaters make less detectable cheats, devs upgrade anti-cheat. It's just at a larger scale cause it's f2p.

I've become an instant reloader just hoping J might feel it in the force.
What's wrong with reloading as cassidy? He has a super fast reload and only 6 shots so you might as well get ready for the next fight if you don't have any los.
i dont get his viewpoint. whats wrong with reloading so much? it doesnt take that long and it gives you better chances of survival when you do it at a safe time

@@jubkggh bc he reloads as soon as he shoots one bullet and doesn't see the enemy for more than 2s, when you should take your time to check before, at least 4-5s and then reload

because he looked so insanely lost compared to other people at that sr. like it wouldn’t make sense for him to be there without getting boosted or cheating. it seemed to me like he was walling but i’m not tryna argue about that

I thought second guy looked suspicious mostly because of how lost he looked and the fact that he was constantly nailing headshots while he and the enemy was moving/jumping/flying whatever but missed multiple shots on slept people while standing still.

something people need to realize is that for every obvious cheater like these two, there are a dozen cheaters who hide the cheating better.

Actually spectating cheaters is my favorite content to watch… it’s terrible that it exists but I just find these situations so boggling yet entertaining
The thing that was funny about the cassidy we spectated first was his refusal to use flash on anyone besides the hog lol. Flash the Tracer in front of him who already used recall? Nope, either whiff or lock onto the head, there is no other option

I think a good solution to the cheating problem is to have an accuracy over time stat that the anti-cheat monitors. And then when there’s a huge spike in accuracy after the first 2 mins, it flags them for review automatically. To avoid cheaters that lower accuracy, like for cass, there can be a FtH accuracy stat as well
I think they are aware of this
But it’s a more complicated approach, they would be getting thousands of flagged games, anybody can have really good games where their aim is a lot better than usual.
It would also have to be character dependent. For example, I've been playing for 5 or 6 years, and while I can snipe widows with Torb's primary fire my accuracy with hitscans is 50% at best. There's a big difference between aiming and accuracy with hitscans versus projectiles. I understand what you're going for, but no person performs at a consistent enough level for accuracy tracking alone to be enough.
I would probably get flagged a few times for this and I'm dogwater. I'll start out matches with horrid aim then hit 5 crit kills in a row. Just happens sometimes. I know I'm far from the only one to experience this, so yeah I think they could have an overload.
you know the later the match goes the more "data" you gather how which enemy moves which increases accuracy, i bet you are doing the same.
17:00 worst is when you're absolutely cracked in 1 game -> over 60% accuracy and over 40% crit accuracy. But then the literal next game you can't hit shit. like sub 30% accuracy out of no where.
The first player clearly cheats but I don't think the second guy does. If he does it's only wallhack.
The cheaters are a problem across all games. I play multiple games where cheating is a problem (Cod, Escape from Tarkov, OW2, etc.) Cheating has become a huge problem in the online gaming community in the past couple years. It's never been this bad
I don't think the second one was cheating, at least from aimbot perspective. Maybe only one of his shots looked peculiar, the rest looked fine.

@@capt420 No, because you can ping people and basically have walls for a short amount of time. The overwatch replayer doesn’t let us properly check. The first person definitely had cheats on and walls, not so sure about the second one

Blizzard should make it so all of the cheaters get grouped with only cheaters. They can have fun in their own games until they are banned.
As entertaining as these are, I'm upset about how common these videos are, and these are just the ones he found interesting, makes me think at least a 4th of all my games have someone cheating

Hackers are far more abundant in free to play games. They'll never be able to stop them so because of that reason they dont even try.
Second guy didn't look like he was cheating at all. Not even walls. Team mates pinging and just looking at the spots where the enemy widow was last seen (got killed there by the hacking widow)
To determine if someone is cheating, you don't only look at what they are doing; you should look at what they aren't doing. The second cheater had horrible positioning, crosshair placement, mechanics, and awareness. You don't see that to that extent in a T500 lobby.
@@MrBaconFTWreal I don't see anything wrong with the 2nd guy's crosshair positioning. He always places it near positions where they would likely show up and then do some minor adjustments after that. Which is valid in my experience of fighting against T500 Widow players and watching their kill cam/ spectate their gameplay.
The only thing that might be valid and I agree with is that he had bad positionings, and that's all about it.

Do a team elimination gmemode and every hero is buffed to the max and see which team gets eliminated first or how long it takes
If u are a hacker it actually makes sense to reload after every shot since every bolt you have is a granted hit

Blue team cheater was a low rank. Probably gold or plat. Red team guy is probably legitimately diamond or higher
I remember in Warcraft 3, everybody was cheating(maphack). In Starcraft 2, somehow, there was very little cheating, especially early on. So if they give a fuck they can prevent this.
They have started pairing up in a min of 2. 5v5 mystery is full

Blizzard's anticheat is straight up crap. I find someone cheating almost every day. I got tired of reporting because it just takes up too much of my time to go back/look at the replay to make sure I'm right. Then report. Almost everyone I have reported I've gotten a report back saying that they took action so I'm pretty accurate at determining who is and is not cheating. But it just takes too much of my time. Now I only report if it's in comp and it caused a loss.
I reported 20+ cheaters in this season. None of them get banned. So these players end up in games of high ranked players untouched lmao. This game has a massive cheater issue alongside of tons of other competitive ranked mode issues.

Granted I started out in Plat, then dropped to silver since my team never healed, and always scattered out, or scattered in. Literally every team I ever end up with, hence why I'm now in Silver, and HARD Silver, but it's still insulting to hear this guy who plays like ass is called a higher rank than me as an insult...

15:20 I had a guy complain to me about hog one shot when overwatch two first came out. He tried telling me that hog never used to one shot before in overwatch 1, and no matter what I said he was adamant that he was right… some people are just dumb as hell.

I get so many cheaters in quickplay, not every aimbotter hits every shot, its not that clearly visible. The 1 way to get a good idea of someone is cheating is their aim vs their play style. If they play like a bronze but shoot like a gm they are 100% cheating.

There are 2 forms of cheaters. The first form of cheaters are the inexperienced ones. They are usually the ones who they play their cards right from the beginning they come right into the match, showing all their cheats without a care in the world and then you have the other ones. The ones who pretend to be bad or don’t turn on the cheats right away and then turn them on when convenient, To not draw attention to themselves. If they are winning, they will continue to turn them on and off but if they are losing they go full throttle.
From my gameplay I go from missing to hitting only heads, so I can't say that it's just cheats, but you can make it far in the ranks with no game sense if you can aim well
