In my mind your partner is like harry potter hidden in their room making no noise and pretending like they dont exist while you film lol except when they make noise
I finally took my tree down this weekend. Only bcuz my 8 year old wanted his Lego table space back… I love the ambiance of the Xmas tree lights!!! I think a Valentine’s Day decorated tree would be so cute 🥹🥰
Oh your upload comes at the perfect time! I was just thinking this morning that I would rather watch an old vlog of yours than wade through what is currently in my feed. I am sat!!
also immersive reading all the way, it became my favorite way to read last year and now i do it all the time if my library has it and the narrators are good!! i'm a 2.25x speed girlie all the way
My dad got my mom a wearable heating pad from Amazon for Christmas. It's awesome, it goes on your neck as well, you should look into it. Also you definitely need to get yourself an electric blanket, they are so nice to have, I put it on top of my blanket and it makes it extra cozy in bed.
Olivia I really admire your love for animals, I hope the car is well. When it comes to sci fi I don't really read them but I know of a really reccomended one is called Gideon the Nine!
lol, Jake in the snow (I hope Ginger’s vet appointment went ok and that she’s now convinced that Sock is good 🍀). I also tend to avoid Trader Joe’s - ours isn’t large and it isn’t laid out well and it is always PACKED (I think the only time I’ve gone and it wasn’t busy the UI’s football team was playing in a bowl game lol)
Sci fi recs: Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan series (if I couldn't be James T Kirk, I would want to be Miles Vorkosigan - the anti- Kirk?). Elizabeth Moon's Vatta's War series. Quarter Share by Nathan Lowell (more slice of life but I love it). On Basilisk Station by David Weber (strong female MC) . Murderbot series by Martha Wells (oh so snarky). A Just Determination by Jack Campbell (JAG in space).
Thank you for another fab vlog 💗 If you’re looking for a sci-fi, you so have to try The Firebird Chronicles by T.A White! I will never stop recommending this series haha
I live in Vancouver BC Canada. The drivers here are like that here when it actually snows. In the city it doesn't normally snow here. When you go north of the city it usually does.
But yeah you can tell who has never driven in it. And the city or i should say the District of North Vancouver where i am. They definitely don't know how to do snow removal 🙄
Not sure it’s the vibes you’re looking for but for Sci-fi - I’ve always loved Enders Game but specifically Enders Shadow and the entire Shadow Series!!! Loved it!!
Hi Olivia! I just recently read Children of Time and it reminded me of a mix of Project Hail Mary and The Three Body Problem. My FIL also love sci-fi so I gifted him the trilogy for Christmas.
Just finished leviathan wakes! Highly recommend. Also the murderbot diaries by Martha Wells. Mostly short stories and one longer novel. Very fast based and funny!
Have you ever tried crocheting? I just got back into it after a long break and I'm really happy about it! I'm making the 6 day star blanket and it's going well so far! I'm hoping to do more today. I'm still a beginner so the pattern has been a little bit of a struggle but it is still enjoyable! I chose purple, blue, dark blue, black, and white for my colors to match the vibe of my room!
Yes! Same! I'm glad to find another person who isn't like super perfect at crocheting. I'm always making mistakes! But I'm really enjoying crocheting mandalas and cute coasters for my mom. 😊

For sci-fi I'd recommend Nophek Gloss, A Memory Called Empire, Leviathan Wakes, Rosewater, Dune, All Systems Red, Far From the Light of Heaven, Cage of Souls......sorry you asked, right?! 😂
i read Paradise 1 and Revenant x because you mentioned it a while ago and had a great time! can't wait to hear your thoughts! also for recs, i know you loved Project Hail Mary, have you tried Andy Weir's other books? Artemis can be a bit polarising but i really enjoyed it, and if you want something strange, the Southern Reach trilogy by Jeff Vandermeer is good, I've just started the last one this week also i literally just finished a cross stitch on new years day that i started almost 4 years ago, don't worry about how long it takes it's all about how much you enjoy making it :)
i love that, just enjoying the cross stitch is the best way to go i think! i love working on it so much. and i'm so so excited for revenant x--i'm just waiting on the library hold!
What seasons/franchises of Real Housewives Wives are the best?? I’ve never watched a single episode of these shows but you’ve gotten in my head and now I’m intrigued 😂😂😂 I just don’t know where to start 😂🫠

hahahha this is so funny, they cackled at it. i would say it's this energy, but there's also a cryptid energy of just lurking right out of frame 🤣
Your partner dropping something right as you said you’re reading a cozy fantasy 😂 the timing was TOO on point 🤣
It's almost like they knew 🤣
Olivia you are the first person I have ever seen cross stitch from the back of a pattern so cool
I finally took my tree down this weekend. Only bcuz my 8 year old wanted his Lego table space back… I love the ambiance of the Xmas tree lights!!! I think a Valentine’s Day decorated tree would be so cute 🥹🥰
Obsessed with Poppi? CAN SO RELATE; IT'S SO GOOD
Oh your upload comes at the perfect time! I was just thinking this morning that I would rather watch an old vlog of yours than wade through what is currently in my feed. I am sat!!
I feel this to my core! I need some relaxation today
I do this all the time! Sometimes I’m like nothing looks good, I guess I have to watch one of Olivia’s vlogs. Twist my arm why don’t you 😊
An hour and 15 min vlog ? 🙌this is exactly what I need for my reading tonight ♥️ say hi to the pets for us !! 🐈🐕🐢
Hope you enjoyed it! 🤎✨
I'm motivated to do my chores cause I have your vlog to accompany me❤
Girl my mom has boxes just like that for the stray/feral cats in her neighborhood. Got to keep those kitties warm.
We just got 5 inches of snow ❄️! ❤❤❤
also immersive reading all the way, it became my favorite way to read last year and now i do it all the time if my library has it and the narrators are good!! i'm a 2.25x speed girlie all the way
It’s so fun! I love doing it with fantasy books so much
I honestly didn’t realise Texas got so cold in the winter, I assumed you were warm all year round 😂 send the snowy vibes to the UK if you can 💛
omg I wish hahaha

I have one of those for when I hurt my neck sleeping too hard 😂
Hey, no shame leaving your Christmas tree up! I would have mine up too if I could. The lights just make me feel happy. 😄🎄
Olivia I really admire your love for animals, I hope the car is well.
When it comes to sci fi I don't really read them but I know of a really reccomended one is called Gideon the Nine!
The Locked Tomb series! rides the line of sci fi & fantasy
i've tried that first book twice and i couldn't do it 😭
I’m so tempted to go to Trader Joe’s just for the sleepy time team and I loveeeee their almond champagne. 🍾
It’s so good, I just went back and got more
I love the Murderbot audiobooks -- highly recommend. Most of the books in that series are novellas, as well.
I've heard so much about this series!
The doc pop by poppi is my favorite soda right now. The watermelon lime olli pop is also fantastic
i need to try the other flavors!
I will wholeheartedly watch every vlog!
@@Claudia-kz6eh Awh thank you! 🤎
That pho looks delicious, your partner looks like an amazing cook!! 😋
Ooh the book that wouldn't burn is on my physical TBR so i'm very excited to hear your opinions on it!
girl this is my first texas winter storm and i'm wildly unprepared!!
It’s so wild!!

For Sci-Fi - highly suggest The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers and The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells!
Agreed about Becky Chambers ❤
i bet that switch is connected to one of your outlets! try plugging in a light.
thanks for the long cozy vlog! ❤
For scifi, The Sun Eater series absolutely slaps so far
i've read the first one but when i started the second one, this was me: 👁️👁️

oh no, i'm so sorry!

@ Aww that’s so nice! I’m sure your mom appreciates that :) I know I’ve made many mistakes but it’s how you learn!
My husband really likes the foundation series by Asimov
The A Memory Called Empire would be my sci fi rec! Space opera, political maneuvering, themes of colonization and imperialism!
my partner LOVES this one, so I def gotta get to it
How do you get the fire crackling I would like to do that when I am reading

The second light switch might be connected to an outlet in the room, like for a lamp.
Loved!

literally adding them all
Your commentary on the pause is so real!! I actually had to DNF a book because of the pauses in the audio, it really just threw me off
Scythe is a pretty interesting scifi regarding AI. It is a YA though. The murderbot series is amazing, on KU, and the humor is top tier.
