Fantastic! There are these rods from Japan called Trout Ranger(EBAY has them). They're ultralight 4' rods the can handle some gnarly salt water monsters, village feeding size monsters. Get you one and hit record!

Entertainment from the start with fishing. IT'S called fishing and not catching for a reason. One full day of throwing the net and you will have it down.
My first experience throwing cast net was in nose of boat, early early spring….. Yep slipped right off in COLD water … no kidding I hit the water popped back up grabbed boat and popped up back in boat so fast paperwork in billfold stayed dry!!! 😂😂

Cast nets can be a workout.. My dad showed me how to throw one when I was 8 years old and you don’t have to put a weight in you mouth..Now I’m 48 years old and still throw them all same way it doesn’t matter what size it is.. I throw 4ft to 22ft cast nets it just depends on where I am trying to catch bait . But nowadays I get my son to throw them.. But most all cast nets come with easy throw instructions. And also they now have the easy throw cast nets that you can throw a pancake every time.. But practice makes perfect.. STAY SAFE and Keep’em coming
Love you smalls, keep putting out bangers man!!! You should do this challenge again, but competition style. Start with a worm, catch a small brim like you did and then a bigger fish, then take it to the ocean and catch a REAL monster!!!
Those under the rocks near the ramp are green sunfish. They can be very aggressive little fish and caught on bass lures 😂
I catch them on Texas rigs every once in a while haha

Yes in West point lake only.bu won't find sun fish on bed. They have no choice but to survive in the rocks. Fuel to the water always rising and lowering. Lake Harding tho. The best lake . Day or night on the Chattahoochee

I'm no bug expert, but those lil things you said were dragon fly larva looked kinda like tiny potato bugs.
I've seen one person catch shad with a rod and reel. The only thing they would bite was that green slimy grass. He caught quite a few, next time you see some and see some of that nasty green slimy grass see if you can't catch a shad or 2. We all know you can do it bro!

Man, I love the regular content coming out side note. I watched a video cause. I had never thrown a big cast and then I bought one I watched a video on TH-cam and the dude does a great tutorial. I can't remember what his name was. But he was a charter, boat, captainand you know they do that so they can supply bait to their charter so, but that dude had me throw 'n pancakes. I know this is long, but whatever.

You need to start with 6 foot net you don't have to do all that extra mess I been throwing a net since I was 10 my uncle bought me a 4 foot on made me go in the yard play with it to you pancake it

my favorite thing to do is use some kind of jig to catch small bream and then use em for catfish bait last time i got a nice bass surpirse myself!
