What they call a 'ringing endorsement' of the Olympus system. Your photography is fantastic. How large are some of those prints,. They look enormous and not what I'd expect from a 20mpx sensor.
Wow!! Thanks so much for your support and comments. The largest prints are 30 inches by 40. Some are canvas Some are on Enhanced Matt. I have used Glossy and Metallic as well. We have videos on making the prints with our Epson 9880. Thanks again Mike
We have a simular kit. Except for the mk2 that I have. Great flexibal kit. I also have the 100-400 but you can cover that range with the converters. Great images to show what the system is capable of. They should make you an ambassador! Grt guido
Hi Guido: I do like the m.300 f4.0 and the MC20 as well. Like I mentioned in a small case I have a great range of focal lengths. I'm very happy with the system. Thanks Mike
Hi Peter: Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I hope that I can go on a few years yet anyway. Lots of Videos on our TH-cam Channel Bellas Vistas. Mike
@@bellasvistas3463 Ah I bet it probably did than, amazing creatures. I am not sure, but do you have a past video or have ever shared the story of how you timed and got that shot? Curious if you planned ahead or was it just one of lifes random surprises where 'the stars aligned'? If not, might make for a fascinating video also :)
@@BMadPhoto If you mean the Owl shot, we went out looking for Snowy Owls, it was almost totally full moon. I got the Owl and then moved a bit to the side got a shot of the moon. At home next day we combined the shots to maintain sharpness in the moon as well as the owl. The Lighthouse and Milky Way is one I have been working on for years. For this one I had to race across the island to get the only clear window for many days. Thanks. Please check out some of our other videos. Mike
Beautiful photos! And great examples of what the #OmSystem / Olympus cameras and lenses can do. Of course it takes a talented photographer to make the magic. :)
Great prints. I have zero regrets with the OM1-II camera (had the OM-1, EM1x bought after price drop). I get amazing images and make beautiful prints. I use to use Canon dSLR from 30D to 7D MK II. Along with my latest lens purchase 150-400 f/4.5 tc 1.25x I have great flexibility for photographing wildlife and having the zoom....
Wonderful video! I appreciate that you shared the setting for each photo. Rather than shoot at widest possible aperture you choose to stop down to f11 in many cases. Can you share some reasons as I generally shoot the big teles wide open?
Thanks very much, Richard, for your insights and comments. It's my understanding that the m.300mm performance is best at f5.6 one stop down. I feel that it would be better at one stop down if I have enough light to spare. The denoise in Lightroom really helps if iso gets a bit higher than I like. We have hundreds of videos on TH-cam. You might enjoy Driving the Dempster or perhaps Haines Alaska, both with the E Series of Olympus. Thanks again. Mike
Both are great cameras 📷. We will never see Kodachrome again. I really miss that film. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂. We have hundreds of videos on TH-cam under the name of Bellas Vistas. Mike
The prints look great!

What did you do with old 4/3 cameras and 4/3 lenses?
I still have an E-3 body for sale with a few batteries. My E-5 shutter gave out. Thanks for watching. .Mike
Oympia should sponsor you...
I don't think there's much chance of that.
