It was wonderful hiking trail!!! It has it all - magnificent view of the lake, forest, bushes, hilltops and the stunning Indian Ocean coastline. It's 16km, level moderate becаuse it's long. Just before you go on a hiking trip, you need to check the tide patterns. To walk along the beach you need to choose the low tide time. The hardest part of this hike was getting to the top of the hills, but if you are in excellent fit, it will not be too difficult, and if not, you will simply stop to rest more often. This hiking trail is a 10 minute drive from Highway 2 close to Sedgefield. So if you are traveling around South Africa, I recommend you take this trail.
