I love these! I think people (including myself sometimes) can have a misconception that aldi sells very basic or low quality items. I love seeing the specialty items and all the great AoS finds!
Years ago I stopped by an Aldi for the first time on a road trip. I can’t say it was a great experience, but I had a feeling I just went to a bad store. Trader Joe’s is (sort of) a sister company to Aldi, and I love Trader Joe’s, even tho they have some flop stores. I have a feeling I’d really love Aldi if there was one closer to me, and I got used to their different offerings.

You are right Mary. There is only subtle differences between ingredients.My niece works in production and they make products for all brands. There can be as little as a couple of grams between them. It’s that old placebo effect. The codes on the expensive products can sometimes be exactly the same as Aldi or Lidl. It all boils down to branding. Love your channel. Molly, Germany.

Aldi is pretty much everywhere. It came to Ireland in the late 90s? I think. Don't remember exactly but around then. I live on Holland now and they are everywhere. Lidl seems to be more popular though...you Germans are good at supermarkets hahaha.

There's no Aldi close to me, but I drove by one recently and nobody could understand why I got excited. Solely due to Mary's videos.
