Just saw this on Netflix tonight and I was blown away. The movie doesn’t feel like an indie budget. The story is captivating, the scenes are immersive, all of the acting is AMAZING(Pedro Pascal is my new favourite actor). I want to know more of your world, I wanna see more of it, give me more please! Excellent job. Absolutely superb!
This film is so original, so creative, and overall amazingly well done. Had no idea the budget was low and it was a debut film because I was so immersed in the movie the entire time. Cheers to Pedral Pascal who drew me to the movie, amazing acting by the entire cast really brought this movie home. SO much I can go on about this movie, the soundtrack and the environment were my favorite. Bravo.
I just watched this film and I love how real and lived-in you all endeavored to make your world feel. I especially enjoyed the variety of people’s gear, suits, and helmets! A lot of scifi has a little too much shine, and sameness. Like everyone can afford the newest apple space suit. This was gritty and felt very grounded.
This movie is Perfect scifi.. It has become one of my go to movies, Like Jaws, I find myself watching it over and over,, The acting between the girl and the lead man is second to none. The equipment is realistic and practical. They are also touching on a certain future for humans.. This form of travel and the purposes of the big ship
Hands down one of the best movies of 2018. Hope they manage to secure a decent budget next time around, cause they're certainly capable of Neill Blomkamp-level breakthrough.

I just watched this on netflix, had no idea how small this production was. I loved the movie, and it felt like such a huge immersive world with such a great personal story. It gave me similar vibes to Duncan Jones' film, 'Moon' (what I mean by that is that it was awesome!). What a great first feature film!
I also want to add, that after watching this movie I thought I would search where the lore for this came from because I thought this must be based in a world that has been fleshed out in novels and other things like that. It turns out, nope, it was just great at giving a sense of world building. Seriously great job!
I was just pestering you guys on Facebook to find out if there would be an art book for this movie and this makes me want it even more now. It's rare to have a small sci fi movie that's so ambitious and successful with its designs. I think a lot of people, especially aspiring filmmakers, would love a more in-depth behind the scenes exploration of this film. Production diaries, concept art, prop photos, storyboards, etc. Maybe include the Green Moon Manual with it as an appendix so we can also get that in print.

Just watched it the other night. I didn’t know it was a lower budget movie. This movie is unbelievable. So beautiful. The characters are amazing, dialogue is amazing. The way the movie makes you feel, it gives you this unsettling and lost kinda feeling. And... the music is fucking KILLER. 10 out of 10
Some people told me this movie was slow and boring and they were discouraging me to watch it, but I did it anyway mainly because of Pedro. Good thing I don’t get biased by others in terms of films and decide for myself if is good or not. I genuinely loved this one, the story, the characters, the ambience, everything.
This is my favorite film. I saw it at a theatre Portland OR when it came out, on a Sunday around 10am or noon. I had a tiny bit of experience with videography, and it made me want to make movies. I’m currently in school for film, and have two terms left. The pacing of the film, the art department, the colors, the acting.. all of it is still so inspiring to me. It’s a treat to watch this BTS and see all the pre-production work!! I love seeing the spaceship work because the crew members are shaking it. Thank you to everyone who made this beautiful project come to fruition.

Just saw it on Prime. I was gobsmacked by the worldbuilding. Just out of this world. The concept of the gems, and how they are stabilized... just so incredible. And the orbiter, how it's closing down.. the world just feels so old and decaying.. incredibly well done!
Insane! This movie is Legend, Everybody involved in this film crushed it, you can feel an see the love and hard worked put in. In my opinion this jump started Pedro's career he nailed his roll.

Finally saw this on Netflix, if these Directors don't get begged by studios to make their films, the studio heads should be fired. As a marvel fan, I would love to see them tackle something like Silver Surfer.
Glad it wasn't green screen, they always look shit if not done right on a tiny budget. This looks like it had more than your normal Indi film budget though. Production design looks great, costumes, guns ect: all the best, hope it does well. 👍🏼👍🏼
