This game is going to LITEARLLY be the perfect game once it releases, all the best parts of POE without the BORING campaign and your build comes online in 30 minutes instead of a week worths of playtime.
Just a tip for getting your own build online. Go essence and harvest and you can get a build online SSF easily in a day or 2. Agree on the boring ass campaign tho
This was awesome, the timing factor adds an extra element of planning, if you can get an idea of how much aggro each room produces, you can plan much more meticulously, and the random element makes it so you have to be able to change plans on the fly, or sacrifice some good rolls for a specific build you hard roll for. I'm gonna have to look this game up!
You've gotta play more of this if you enjoy it at all. It's litterally the perfect game. I just hope meta progression allows runs to go longer so you can get more synergy in the build
I was playing this game yesterday and it's so good but so hard, it really becomes a crazy show after some nodes and it can lead to crazy synergies with skills and equipments.
I’d enjoy watching at least 1 more run now that you have a better grasp of the mechanics (and that the boss seeks you out, so you can plan your route with that in mind)
I don't know if I'm missing something, I’m not done the vid yet, about 50 mins in, but Sifd has passed up Piercing twice now; wouldn't it be insane in this build? just free DPS any time two enemies are lined up in front of each other?Edit: Ok, so it looks like he was going to try and add some towards the end there and just did not get the chance.
I love POE, Path can be overwhelming for beginners, but if you follow this simple formula, you should be fine up to level 80 without looking up veteran builds. All of your damage comes from gear, all of your survivability comes from your skill tree.
not all, you definitely want to hit 75% res and get some defenses/life with your gear and the tree gives you a bunch of damage, getting 100-200% increased damage will help a lot Imo the most useful metric for not having a terrible time as a new player is that you should have 75% res in act 3, and 250-450 life per act. but yeah as a beginner don't ignore life on the tree. also have at least 3 links for your main skill as soon as possible, and be on the lookout for 4 linked items with the right colors. most of the time a white item with the right 4 links is better than whatever rare you can have during the campaign, and you can craft some resistance on it with the crafting bench. (or you could use a low tier essence or orb of alchemy on it.)
@@xenmaifirebringer552 - well, I'm assuming that in the full game there will be multiple layers of gradually increasing difficulty bosses, giving more opportunities to expand the skill tree. Otherwise the game seems way too short for each run to end after that first boss.

Yes but the problem with the game is that the diversity of monsters are really low they need to add more monsters with new mechanics
ye they should add progression buffs also, so its worth griinding

Areas seem too short imo. Compare it to brotato or rogue genesia. Feels like more tike was spent in the menu between rooms than the rooms themselves

That sounds like a question for graph theory mathematicians, but it seems unlikely just by chance (also the boss aggro ofc)
