@@gzoechithe difference is that AGI (theoretically) has the same capability as a human, such as learning on the go, and ability to adapt. Whether it does this better than humans I guess we might get to know soon, I certainly hope so. ASI, or what we define as ASI is quite a step further as it surpasses human intelligence
@TrollAndPlay I think that AGI's capability to efficiently communicate with other computers (running replicas of itself) will make AGI almost immediately into ASI. All it needs, starting from AGI, is to find ways to constantly improve its capabilities a tiny bit.

The models aren’t scary. The “Open” (source) AI being turned into CLOSED (proprietary) AI after gobbling up essentially all copyrighted materials ever created…. Uh, the ethics there are F’d. They were able to amalgamate the copyrighted works and then took that data and decided that they would then make it semi-non-profit (not a thing)… and they are keeping access back to those they deem worthy. You and I can’t buy access to the same models, we won’t pay the same price per token on the same model… cheap for a handful of beloved ultra rich and prohibitively expensive for the Everyman they did their fundraising around while claiming we’d always have access to the models. Bill Gates is now the central investor and we know he is being blackmailed by not very nice people (Epste1n Isle), etc. GPT isn’t scary but the way it is nudging and refusing to answer very specific flavors of questions by topic / category.
If you don't think AI is scary, you aren't paying attention. And Sam Altman and Lex Friedman aren't salesmen. They're leading-edge AI engineers and developers.
The Laws and Principles will be adheared to by AI since this is a Universal law. Unconditional Love is going to be much more painful when one learns the truth of it. What has started is not and has never been in thier control. One can not control an energy as much as they think they do. I am completely Excited and ready for the Laws of the Universe and Unconditional Love that will eventually be END result. Problem is there will be a large area of Learning that is the Painful part. The best way to go forward is by meditating and listening to your own intuition. We are meant to learn our lessons and handle our experiences with Grace.
