That's not true. A third of items listed under "Highgrove Savories and Preserves" are sold out, including strawberry preserve. There are still others left. For now. 😊

I like St. Dalfour or Crofter's. Not boutique or small-batch, though really good. I buy honey that is sourced locally, the benefits of living in Southern California. 😊

Nearly all the preserves and Marmalades are sold out. yesterday I looked to see what they had, but didn't order. Today i decided to go back and order my hubby some Marmalade, and it was sold out!! I bought a different one to try and some Chutney.
Don't forget the exklusiv piece of cloth on the top, it comes from Archies original diapers! 😂

There are strawberry patches in San Gabriel valley, Covina, La Verne, Pomona, Montclair, Chino (look for diary farms and cows), Upland, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga... Orchards are not where strawberries grow. 😂

There are any number of boutique canning companies in California--we benefit from reasonably priced small batch jams, jellies, condiments, or honey (it is all about locally sourced honey, yum). I would expect something like that. Canning is more than one hour a week. 😂
Ps: Many communities also have a strawberry patch or two, especially in Southern California.

Shauna, love your channel, some people have jokingly suggested that she might have sent number one jar of jam to Catherine, Princess of Wales. I remember hearing Catherine tell the story of her first Christmas with the Royal Family and she didn’t know what to give HMTQ as a gift, so she went home and made some homemade jam (a recipe that belonged to her great grandmother) and the Queen was so delighted with the gift that it was put on the table for breakfast on Christmas Day. I do find it strange that now that Harry’s wife has gone into the jam making business, she claims her recipe belonged to her great grandmother as well, so yet again Meghan can’t have an original idea, she has to copy from someone else, and I’d rather a jar of jam from Catherine, Princess of Wales any time ❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Such a novel idea - strawberry jam produced from lemons from an orchard sealed with calico and string - who would have thought!!
Strawberry jam is apparently made using lemon instead of pectin. (I looked up recipes to see how easy it is to make strawberry--marmalade is a bit more involved of a process)

Oh please... There are so many lemon trees in California. She probably sent a servant to pick lemons off of a local tree. The lemons in her baskets looked like they might have been on the tree(s) too long, most lemons (and oranges) were harvested two months ago.
I would have been mildly impressed if the lemons in Meghan's basket were the less common and more superior Meyer--Meghan's lemons did not not look like Meyer--the color and peels were wrong. 🥱
