Really cool rundown on a band that sees their instruments like nobody else; host did a great job leading the interview, leaving room for the guest, and knowing enough to as useful questions. Thanks for this!
Kristian is a gem for owning up to liking effects! I like effects too :-). On most of these rig rundowns, guitarists claim to be purists in search of "the cleanest tone possible" then go on to explain the 10 pedals needed to achieve that lol
Awesome episode. I've been listening to these guys for years and it never occurred to me there would be just two of them. I had such a smile on my face as he demonstrated You are enough. Such a clever use of equipment.
This guy has done the first two Duran Duran albums and the Simple Minds New Gold Dream album on TH-cam…. He’s already a legend to me, and I haven’t even heard his band!!!
This is a bolt-on neck instrument; they went to glued-in in 1978, along with a change to the M22 pickups. I believe Hofner made their necks in those years. As soon as they switched to glued in and neck through they started manufacturing their own.
Rockin' that Casbah shirt too! Loved this vid. Kristian is always super cordial irl and how that dude manages all this stuff is 🤯, but he's a gangsta nonetheless! 🤘🤘🤘
does anyone know if the boomerangs are synced somehow? or he is just so good that its 2 free loops perfectly combined? i find it hard enough to believe he and the drummer play off each others loops without them being clock synced, now 3 unsynced loopers its insane

Try to see them live if you can. Best show ever. No backing tracks or even click tracks

I wonder how much those double necks weigh, he seems very comfortable wearing that tank.
There’s a band called L-1011? Bruh
Not many people get that reference! But there's a picture of one on an album cover of theirs.
@@markmizak2775 it's actually a different plane haha!
Wow Bill Burr is so much better an interviewer than he is a comedian
