I get the vibe that he's done this for so long as a kid that he doesn't love to fight and train and with all due respect is enjoying his time off and recovery.. he gets to be lazy for the first time in his life and is hesitant to go back
i think he had alot of weird injuries he needed to overcome and it took a long time for him to get well. now he's more interested in pursuing medicine as a career path (which obviously makes more sense financially and health wise). i'm sure he's still gonna coach and be relevant in the fighting culture. i see him cornering his younger brother fighting in EFC who is also a beast
