I've just set up my new green house, Organized my inside garden, transplanted my cucumbers. starting mew adventures this year, First one is Snowshoeing today. Joined a sewing group and gardening group. This is a very special week New moon, Lunar new year and we just had the planets all aligned. Thank you Blessed be
🐥🦆🐦⬛ M friend signed us up for a wheat weaving class later in February and I am going to sit down to plan my herb garden according to the herbs I am learning at Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine. I’m very excited about it! The Willamette Valley is one of my favorite places to visit when I visit Family in Salem area!! Thank you for this video!!!
You remind me of a dear person I've had the experience of working with. As soon as I saw your recommendation of the Midnight Library I had to read it. And now, I'm bawling tears of satisfaction and joy. I'm also recommending it to many of my clients who are very much struggling, especially lately. Thank you so much for your recommendation. We never know how we'll touch someone, do we? Blessed be.
"How powerful choice is." Yes. I have "The Midnight Library" on my TBR. I'll have to bump it up. I love "Under a Tuscan Sun." What a great and inspiring video. I love this sabbat. Thank you for inspiring me.
dead energy clutter, is a good call out , letting go of old energy, people, stagnant energy, and objects, invites in new energy to come! 🐦🦉 totally enjoyed this video :)
@@naturalwitchery I feel that in my studio, i need to build shelves and disorganize my supplies, the energy is stagnant in some areas too that needs to be lifted, thanks for the reminder
Big yes for all of this! I hear You on so many levels. Taking notes, recs and subscribing for me - even without seeing what the rest of Your videos are :)
I loved this. I especially loved your chat towards the end about letting go and clearing out things that block our energy. I will be doing a lot of that this Imbolc. 🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛
Thanks for all these wonderful ideas, Haxa! I love how you marry mundane with magickal here. I lvoe your bird feeder set-up. I compost everything that I can so that I'm basically only putting packaging in the trash. I take my trash out once every 3-5 weeks which I think is fab but I still want to get better at reducing what goes in my own trashcan. I also take fabric bags with me when I run errands so that I don't have to bring home a bag from a store or if it's small enough I put the item in my purse. I also reuse ribbon, gift bags and paper from gifts that I get because most of that stuff is full of plastic. I've also been making any new purchases I get for that stuff out of organic or recycled items. And I try to shop bulk when I can and reuse the bags I have to get those things as well.
I love all the wonderful ideas you listed. All of these small things add up! I do a lot of of these myself. One of the things I’ve swore off a couple years ago were plastic shopping bags. I only use cloth ones now. They’re better anyway, because you can wash them.
Watching you while slowstitching a new coverlet that will spread over the next 12 months; it's my new project for this whole year that will help me bring patience and love to my life. Under a Tuscan Sun and Eat, Pray, Love for me, yes, yes and yes! ❤❤❤ The Church made me a better witch😂😂😂 good line to tell any priest😅 Thanks for the recomendations 😊 I've never known about Imbolc so will be reading about it to get the feel of it. Do you have a video about how to make calendula oil? Lots of love from Spain 🐦🐤🐦
🦉🦉🦉 I am definitely making that pumpkin bread pudding. Enjoyed watching this episode while on the treadmill.. I guess that means I can have two servings 🤔
Hi Häxa, one of the things I do for Imbolic (actually all year, but especially now). I gather hair from my brush and use clothes pins to clip it to the trees and bushes. I will also use lint from the dryer. The birds will gather it for their nests. Pet hair is perfect, too. There's another thing, I like to do with my hair is a prosperity spell and plant it beneath a tree. It's been told to never throw your hair into the trash. 🐦🐓🐤🦅🦆🦃🦉
Looking at nests nestled in cactus, I see all kinds of materials the doves and cactus wrens use. I am losing so much hair these days. I love the idea of birds using my hair in their nests. 🪹🪺
🕯️🩵🕯️🕯️🕯️🐥🕯️I absolutely love Imbolc/candlemass season as my birthday is February 2nd! Of course I’ve always thought it special, magical, and kinda mysterious. I so appreciate your creative additions to honor this season as they’ll add to my deep candle work. I feel it’s another liminal period where shedding, cleansing and immersion into nature has become so healing for me. Blessings to you and all who visit here. 🕯️🩵🕯️🩵🕯️🩵🕯️🩵
I read “Lilith” last year. I really enjoyed it! A very good read for those coming out of the church and trying to reconnect to our Mother and our inner goddess.
Lovely. I'm going to make the pumpkin bread pudding. My tradition for imbolc is to clean my oven and the do a blessing. I associate the oven as Brigids cauldron, the fire of creativity. I've been doing this for 30+ years.
This is my first year at home in the cold for the winter. Most of time we travel to a warm climate for these months. But I am enjoying the connection to the Wheel. Thank you for explaining and sharing the energy of Imbolc.
Great video! I take my kids and we stay with my aging mom on the weekends. (Taking care of kids and aging parents season.) I found The Midnight Library on her shelf and started reading it recently. Her b-day is Groundhog Day. I guess I’ll finish that book in the coming weeks. Perfect! 🦢 🐦 🦅
Thank you for this lovely, informative and inspiring video. I shall definitely be looking for those books you mentioned. Under the Tuscan Sun is also one of my favourites. It was Meryl Streep not Glenn Close in The Devil Wears Prada. I am on the 15th floor of an apartment building by the water. Watching the water and the birds through the Seasons is a constant comfort to me. A flock of at least 70 Canada Geese just flew by , so close i could see their feathers. Take care care ❤
🐦🐦🐦I have been doing most of the things you mentioned in this video. I have noticed more birds are singing and have seen giant flocks of birds!! Thank you for this great video. 🐦🐦🐦
I so enjoyed this video! I've been wanting to get a bird feeder...I think this was my sign to do it. :) I've been working on crocheting and getting better at knitting. It's absolutely insanely cold here today and for the next few days so I plan to burrow in my house and work on planning our garden and making my vision board for the year. I'm also going to make a tiered skirt for myself with fabric I bought last fall. 🐦
Great video, love your farm. It looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing that recipe. I am not sure what I plan to do for Imbolc yet. I am thinking on what to do. I might bake some. Clear out a few things as well that need to be donated, thrown away or given back to the land. I might start some hydro herbs to have for early spring. 🐦🐦🐦
It's wonderful to be on the path to finding a perfect Imbolc for you, it will come! So many ideas this time of year. Hydro herbs sound like a fun way to get a jump start of the weather.
🐦Thanks for all the wonderful ideas! The bread pudding looks delicious. I don't eat wheat anymore, but gosh, that pumpkin puree looked delicious all on its own as a custard. Maybe I'll substitute sweet potato and give that a try. Thank you for sharing so much with us. We (my partner and I) always seem to be in a decluttering state of mind this time of year, going through our bookcases and closets, getting rid of furniture we don't use, reorganizing shelves. Perhaps that call to refresh and revitalize!
I definitely pull this aside and just pour it as a custard that I bake. My daughter is gluten intolerant and so I make a little side ramekin for her every time.
🐥🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🐥 This was so refreshing to watch. 1. We are both gentle souls and that is rare so it's nice to see :) I love the bee analogy, don't keep dead things in your house! Or at least go with the gut instinct of the season and consider what needs tending to I like the idea of pumpkin bread pudding because its so full of spices which will help kick off the season, rather than waiting. And the Lilith book seems great too! Great job!
🐦🐦 Already planing the gardens in my head - like i do every year hoping not to add anything but as a christmas gift I received 'the t-shirt' to a garden center that gives you discounts and other things when worn, so we shall see how that goes😂 prepping for maple syrup figuring how many taps I can handle and getting the space and jars ready and just trying to keep things clean (can be hard at times with 6 🐱) so far that is it😄 Thank you for sharing
I am new to your channel. I am really starting to connect with my Celtic spiritual practices. I have been celebrating Samhain for several years. This will be my first serious celebrating of Imbolc. I am sewing green embellishments on a gold scarf in commemoration of Brigid. I have ordered Scottish and Irish jewelry findings to make my own set of prayer beads.
That's amazing! Brigid is such a powerful goddess. I can’t wait for TH-cam to put out the new community tab that will allow everybody to post pictures! I would love to see your prayer beads
Just found your channel as a baby witch who's just dabbling at the moment but really enjoyed this video and I have Lilith on my bookshelf so excited to pick it up this season

Thank you for providing so much inspiration. You really give such thoughtful, timely and well -rounded suggestions (definitely something there for everyone).
Do you think you could do a video on raising strong witchy kids? This was such a wonderful video and I would love to hear some ways you would talk to children about this...
i found i have a trend - from going through old journals, where, yes, i keep a record of what ive read through the year- that i read the jean m auel books around this time. earths children, all about neandrathal and spaieiens, and the early landscapes, and she goes into such almost boring details about plants, haphazard medicine, skinning, hunting, artwork, beading, etc.....I love it, but ive seen loads of people call those parts boring. I love the books. shows, lark to candleford, - check. I also watch Victorian farm, Edwardian Farm and Wartime farm,
I love all of the ____farm series! Tudor, Edwardian, Victorian. I think we are the same kind of geeks. I love survival books and anything about doing things hands on. ❤️
You showed up in my feed today and instant follow at the mention of the Willamette Valley (born and raised there but up in PDX now). Thank you for all the great recs!
Great ideas! I make a ham, egg and cheese souffle during the holidays, very similar to your pumpkin dish. So I'm definitely going to try your recipe! Many blessings 🧙
Love your thoughts on getting rid of things we tell l ourselves “someday” about. You are so right, they just weigh us down and clutter the energy. My Imbolc season looks very different than yours as I live much farther north and it is the middle of winter still.
I have friends in Canada and they always talk about how hard it is to connect with the Sabbath the way it is traditionally celebrated. I think it’s important to check in with how the wheel feels for each of us where we live and honor it in our own way. I take it you have snow?
🐥🐦⬛🪹 hello! I was looking for imbolc ideas and you came up as recommend. So happy you did. Newly subscribed and will be attempting to bake. Thank you for your suggestions. Celina
@ hello, I have. As I’m still cleaning and reorganizing my altar. Trying to catch everything I listen to and comment while organizing. Thank you once again for the suggestions and tips. ✨🕯️🌙
I’m new here, your clip came up and I have to say you had me at the pronunciation of ‘Imbolc’ 🙌 I personally can’t stand when people pronounce the ‘b’ even though I’m told both are correct. I was taught by an Irish TH-camr that the ‘b’ is silent so that’s how I’ve always pronounced it. BTW I’m in Australia so Imbolc isn’t looming here instead it’s Lughnasadh that’s looming. BTW Under The Tuscan Sun and The Devil Wears Pravda are faves of mine too. Just to let you know it’s Meryl Streep not Glenn Close in The Devil Wears Prada 😉🦜🦜🦜
I can’t believe I said Glenn Close! I’m never gonna live this down. I’ll have years of people telling me I got that wrong lol. There are so many people from down under that come to my channel. I keep thinking of listing my videos for your time of the year in my community channel. Is that something that might catch your eye?
@@naturalwitchery💯it would appeal. I usually wait to watch out of season clips, but sometimes like this I watch anyway. I find there’s very few SH accounts on TH-cam so I have no choice but to watch clips that are out of season for the SH.🦜🦜🦜
You don’t need to wash eggs at all. No one in the uk washes eggs before they crack them. They’re unwashed in store too. Some even come with a feather stuck on them. All safe to crack as is.
The Devil wears Prada is a great movie. It's Merle Streep tho, not Glenn Close. Love the book recomendatios. I'm just starting in a journey I know has bern calling me all my life.
I always love your videos. I’m going through quite a large transition that is messy and emotional. I’m mostly just trying to keep my head above water and keep on keeping on. 🫶🏻
It’s been a rough time for me too. I did hear an astrologer say that we are going through a time of grieving. I’m definitely feeling that as I let go of things, but also there’s just so much change right now.
Howl’s Moving Castle for a movie 🎠 👒 🏞️ Once people talked about how Nick treats Andy the entire time in Devil Wears Prada- he’s a bad boyfriend. Can’t stand him. 😂
They were both young and not sure where they were headed. Not hard to see why it fell apart. I’m not sure we are meant to be with people long term for so long.

Who did I say?
Aaaaaaa! I can’t believe I said Glen Close!
I enjoy your channel very much. Thanks for posting the book and watch list. ✨📺📚🌠
You’re most welcome. Enjoy!
🐦🐦🐦 Lovely video.
Happy Imbolc! Thanks
🐥🐦⬛🪹 hello! I was looking for imbolc ideas and you came up as recommend. So happy you did. Newly subscribed and will be attempting to bake. Thank you for your suggestions. Celina
I’m so glad you found me. Welcome, Celina! It looks like you’ve poked around a bit, and found a few things here.💕
@ hello, I have. As I’m still cleaning and reorganizing my altar. Trying to catch everything I listen to and comment while organizing. Thank you once again for the suggestions and tips. ✨🕯️🌙
Im a new subscriber and you really speak to me. Looking forward to my first Imbolc ❤
Welcome! I hope you enjoy tapping into the elements and how they are speaking to you in the area that you live
🐦⬛🐦🕊🦢🦅🐣🦩🐦🔥🦉 I'm having an Imbolc potluck with friends and family
Ooooo!
May your emo celebration be a joy
What are the dates for Imbolc?
Imbolc eve is February 1, with Imbolc the 2. I tend to feel the shift here though about now on my land. Some feel it later.
You don’t need to wash eggs at all. No one in the uk washes eggs before they crack them. They’re unwashed in store too. Some even come with a feather stuck on them. All safe to crack as is.
Some of my eggs have poop all over them. If they’re clean, I don’t bother washing them though lol
Hey Häxa I was wondering if you would be okay with me doing something similar to your video but putting my spin on it?
Of course! Please contribute to our community.
🕊️
May this season be a true blessing to you!
@ may renewal and new beginnings bless you

I love the owl emojis!
The Devil wears Prada is a great movie. It's Merle Streep tho, not Glenn Close. Love the book recomendatios. I'm just starting in a journey I know has bern calling me all my life.
It is Meryl Streep! I am so glad you love the book recommendations!
🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦
Happy Imbolc!
I always love your videos. I’m going through quite a large transition that is messy and emotional. I’m mostly just trying to keep my head above water and keep on keeping on. 🫶🏻
Me too. Keep going sister. 👊💜
It’s been a rough time for me too. I did hear an astrologer say that we are going through a time of grieving. I’m definitely feeling that as I let go of things, but also there’s just so much change right now.
I’m definitely feeling it. Hugs
@ There's been a lot of death lately. Some of it expected, most of it not.

Happy Imbolc!
Seen The Devil Wears Prada "50 times" yet thanks Miranda Priestly is played by... Glenn Close?????
Yes, I made a mistake. I know it’s Meryl Streep. Funny how much perfection everyone expects.

May this season be a true joy!

Hey Belinda, nice to see you❤️
@ think you, nice to be seen. I enjoy your videos.
devil wears prada is not glenn close, thats meryl streep
That’s one of those moments where you are thinking one thing and say another!
🦆 🦜 🐓 Such an informative video. This is my first Imbolc and I will definitely utilize some of your tips 💗
Happy Imbolc 🕯️🕯️🕯️
Howl’s Moving Castle for a movie 🎠 👒 🏞️
Once people talked about how Nick treats Andy the entire time in Devil Wears Prada- he’s a bad boyfriend. Can’t stand him. 😂
They were both young and not sure where they were headed. Not hard to see why it fell apart. I’m not sure we are meant to be with people long term for so long.
