The main mistake was that, it was not your biz idea. It was your dad's dream.
Parents please let your children make their own decisions.
Dads stop making every decision for your sons.
Thats why sometimes you see children from single mothers do good in life coz most of them have room to make their own decisions.
This is an opinion after many years of bonoko observations.

I've worked with an eabl keg distributer as the IT guy (SuperUser) and later as the Sales manager before quiting to become an IT freelancer. After stabilizing the guy was making at least 2M profit (mwezi wa baridi/mvua). But now he gave us stories of how he started off and his story is so similar to yours. His dad negotiated the deal for him and gave him starting capital lakini ile mateso alipitia karibu sana anyang'anywe contract ipewe mwingine. His dad had to come to his rescue for the 2nd time with 3 new lorries and some political kicks to the guy who wanted to take the dealership. apo ndo akaanza kustabilize. Biz ya Eabl ama Cocacola inaweza kuua na pressure,. Nice story telling bro!

1 wrong order....... ulikuwa unaweka order .. according to venye we umeona demand but io order ikifika unapata wameweka totally opposite.... Sasa io order instead ya kuuza within one week inaenda one month
2 .sales representative akikuja depot anauza alaf hakurudishii dooh na crates anakushow aty utapata mbele alaf dooh aty itakuwa included in the next order
      3.pressure from the company

It is a good experience story but am still struggling to understand how the 6m was all lost. Wish the story was better structured, the interviewer interjected too many times where it was not necessary. Out of the 6m surely something was salvaged... But clearly the sold land was gone!

    • @mianomuthii

Lost land, at the end I had loan arrears of 2.4million and all the revenue lost on the house I was using... Cumulatively almost 5-6 m... Title took from the initial money I had in the bank day 1
