APOLOGIES FOR THE WIND NOISE, I bought some windscreens to fix the issue. The auto generated closed captions on this video are pretty good though, consider turning those on just for this video
Wow I just bought 1000skis last year, and I also previous use Moment Deathwish, but mine is Powder. They re poppy and fun, also very versatile. They are very similar to deathwish, more fun but less charging, I 'd say.
Like the closest flex comparison is the line blend. But the blend does not have as much pop as the 1000s skis. And the blend I think chatters at speed limit
My faction CTs 3.0 reached their limit and im considering shifting to 1000 skis all mountain. What is your opinion on this change? Im not a butter buy, but a like doing all types of rides in a playful manner (trees, bumps, groomers, powder and parks).
Haven’t ridden the CT’s but I will say the all mountain is a super fun ski. I have a review on my youtube of that ski as well, it’s much more of a fun 1 ski quiver. Not as much of a pure butter machine like the park version
Are the skis just for expert skiers? Thinking about getting the all mountains because I want something light and fun but I'm really not the best skier intermediate I would say. Really unsure 🤔
1000 skis are for all types of riders! I will say they are a very soft ski though, I would demo some skis and determine if you like softer or stiffer skis better. When i first started learning how to ski i really liked stiff skis for their stability, but once i hit the intermediate level i started loving skis with more flex. It’s all personal preference!
do u think the 1000 park ski would be a good all mountain ski? i wonder how they are on groomed runs and how they are for carving. can u help answer my questions? thanks g!
I ski them on almost everything (other than deep powder) but I would recommend getting the 1000 skis All Mountain if you are planning on having it be your all mtn ski :)
hi, I want to buy the park or all mountain version of these skis and I'm wondering how they ride on powder snow and what bindings would you recommend for 1000 skis?
Season eqpt! I normally don’t vouch for poles cuz they all basically do the same thing, but I had one break and their customer support team was super cool & sent me a replacement!
Yes! I already had 2 pairs of skis with similar waist width to the all mtn, I wanted something for park & spring slush. If I didn’t have multiple pairs of skis I would have gotten the all mtns!
@@Clinttoz i like the vibes you are having on the park ski, jibby and swervy but i don't really go into the park specifically and hit jumps etc. Would it be overkill to get the Park version without actually heading into the park or all mtn would be better?
U know hard to say since I haven’t ski’d the all mtn, but I know Magnus and hackel mainly ski the all mtn and they have no problems being swervy. I think all 3 of the skis in their line are built to be swervy :)
ha. ya. I’ll be the first to admit this was one of my early videos and I may not have conveyed my ideas in the best way possible. They for sure chatter a bit like any flexible ski, but what I was trying to get at is that I don’t feel like it holds me back at all.

Love the video thanks for sharing! I'm wondering what camera you used to film your runs?

well if your wanting to ride on powder the all mountain would be a better option because of its width
Look bindings
What kinda poles are you running in this video? I’ve been looking for something nicer than the basic pole and these caught my attention!
Season eqpt!
I normally don’t vouch for poles cuz they all basically do the same thing, but I had one break and their customer support team was super cool & sent me a replacement!
@@Clinttoz yup just looking around different poles getting some ideas, thanks man!
Needed this!
yo man what pants are u rocking in this video cuz they look awesome
Yo! I made a video detailing my whole kit :)
Do they ever chatter when going at high speeds?
Honestly not really
what jacket are u wearing bro?
I have a vid on all my gear! Titled “MY SKI GEAR for the 2023/24 season”:)
@@Clinttoz i'll take a look thank you my bro
Where you skiin at?
Schweitzer!
Love it 👊🏻👊🏻
I think you would reach more ppl with brighter colours in the thumbnail. But over all great content keep it up
Ooo ok I’ll work on that
W review
Mind telling me which poles you have I really like the look?
yes :) season eqpt
Hi toz great video :D
Thanks!!
What pants are those?
arsenic big strides. Just posted a video of my kit for the season!
is there a reason why u got the PARK instead of ALL MTN version?
Yes! I already had 2 pairs of skis with similar waist width to the all mtn, I wanted something for park & spring slush.

Enjoyed the vid man but audio a bit hard to hear when you’re skiing ⛷️ 😂
Appreciate the feedback :) I just got some windscreens for the mic which should make it better for next videos!
Im new to skiing, if i was 6'2 what length of skis would you recomend me to get for the 1000's?
i'm 6'3 and ride 180, so either 171 or 178 should be good in my opinion
If you really new i wouldn't recooment 100'skis
"there's no issues with chattering" skis proceed to chatter at the slightest increase of speed
ha. ya. I’ll be the first to admit this was one of my early videos and I may not have conveyed my ideas in the best way possible.

schweitzer?????
Yuh
keep going you got this
Are you scared of snapping them if you bend em too hard? Seems like they migh break easy
Honestly no, I’ve put my entire body weight onto these things and they’ve given no signs of snapping
Port Gamble clip carried
The one in the intro?? 💀
what the fuck is onep
