He really worked on the descending to win Lombardia, where he initially got worked over, then killed it the following season, and on, and on.

@@NILSZWARTDOEK I don’t think he was bad at it, but I remember Vingegaard half wheeling him on descents at the Tour and sort of making him look bad. Also in the TT at the Tour last year where there was quite a visible difference between how Pog was attacking the corners vs Vingegaard. Don’t get me wrong, though, Pog was always a great bike handler. His lack of crashes proves that.

You have to have been following pro cycling for a while to truly understand the gravity of he is an astonishing two-wheel superhuman. And in the modern era..we may marvel for years with his obvious joy he takes in the moment ❤

No offence at all but it's quite a pity that Tom Pidcock wasn't there for different reasons. The Giro would have been a lot closer and this descent would have been ridden at a much higher speed.

Still leaves lots of space on the in and out side, he also should prioritize the exit more to be even faster. It is definetelly not bad tough, you need alot of courage to go trough corners with that speed and of course he can't take massive risks, 1 mistake and you lose a ton of time or even have to drop out the race
