Wow amazing performance by whole UCLA Bruins women basketball team this afternoon.The rotation that Cori Close and coach executed today was superb and amazing. .This definitely was a physical and clean game tonight And this afternoon they showed they can defeat and beat Baylor this afternoon and they did it amazing fashion. . This is a team that work together and definitely win games and play the game of basketball efficiently. And goes individually and collectivity thorough out their big 10 conference games a And they continue to play phenomenal defensive and interrupt their opponents offensive and defense from the opening minute to the final minutes of the game versus Baylor .Due to UCLA defense and offense the Indiana has lost this game . And that was phenomenal from both ends of the floor from the UCLA Bruins and you have to give them credit for their defensive plays through out whole game getting stops and stealing and out rebounding the Baylor .And the UCLA starters and the players that was phenomenal tonight .That just show the phenomenal growth and their Resilience. And their ability to dominate constantly has grown from last season of this team from last season to now. And they all should be proud of Monday perfomance. Because they won and they made history this Monday Player stats and UCLA leaders for this game Lauren Betts 24 points 9 rebounds and two assists . Kiki Rice fifteen points four rebounds and three assists. Gabriela Jaquez with eleven points thirteen rebounds and three assists. Timena Gardiner with four points and one rebound. Londynn Jones five points and three assists and three rebounds.Janiah Barker with ten points and eight rebounds and two assists. Dudley with zero points with her respective minutes. Hopefully next game they can come out and finish stronger then played Baylor.
This Bruins Women's team continues to roll. The talent, experience and cohesiveness shone through, especially after playing pretty much even with Baylor after that 17-2 blitz to begin the game. Kiki's leadership and steadiness helped offset the excessive turnovers when some Bruin players seemed to be a step slow. Lauren and Gabriela were awesome! Go Bruins!

I don't agree that the rotation that Cori Close used today was superb and amazing. However I would say how she connects with all of her players One to One is superb and amazing. She does not talk AT her players, but to them. I love that about her. I have seen several coaches counter smaller Guards by starting their own Smallest Guards. Not sure that was the best move. UCLA is suppose to Dominate this team and it was far closer for longer then what was ever comfortable. Nor did the REFS help much in the first half. This however is a gritty and scrappy Baylor team. Folks can't just walk in and just beat them, they better bring their A game. Baylor is going to surprise some teams come Tournament time.
