Hi, Bridget! Thanks so much for this informative video. My favorite strategy was to have the students work in pairs or small groups to create their own graphic organizers. My students sometimes struggle with filling in organizers, so creating their own will give them more ownership of how to track the information. Thanks for all you do. Have a wonderful week ahead! 💜
Hi Bridget I am sitting and planning lessons for the spring semester as I watch this video. I often watch you and Michelle's videos as I plan the curriculum for my students. In Norway, we have 190 school days from August to June and 4 holidays. The autumn holiday is either week 40 or week 41. The next holiday is the Christmas holiday which starts around 18 December to 3 or 4 January. The next holiday is the winter holiday, which is either week 8 or week 9. The last holiday is the Easter holiday in week 13. We have an after-school offer for grades 1-4 during the holiday for those parents who have to work, but they have some closed days for planning and holidays . If there is something you and Michelle want to talk about in the podcast, I am happy to be a guest and can share my experiences from work in school and kindergarten because the Norwegian kindergarten system is set up completely differently than in the US Rikke
I should have added that as a clarification... I went back and rewatched and see how that might be confusing. Maybe that is a great video.... clarifying tier 1, 2, and 3 instruction! Thank you for pointing that out. 🫣

Never ever have I thought to use in whole group!🤦🏼♀️ great idea.
It’s simple!
Thanks for sharing 😊
Tier 2 can also mean a second or 3rd dose of tier 1.
It doesn’t necessarily mean you are dropping below grade level material.
Yes, it is targeted instruction that is supporting a deficit in tier 1.
I should have added that as a clarification... I went back and rewatched and see how that might be confusing. Maybe that is a great video.... clarifying tier 1, 2, and 3 instruction! Thank you for pointing that out. 🫣
