How to tame a baby, step one : no witnesses

Taming the parent/parents will also tame the baby/babies, also just a side note, babies are the same levels as the parents

I didn't read through all of the comments, but you don't have to kill the parent to claim the baby, or slightly older offspring. Tame the parent and then chases down the offspring to get close enough to claim it. If there are twins, which may not be the same age, you will have to get close enough to each one to claim each. You may also need cryopods to get the entire family back to your base and a cryorefrigerator to store them until needed (parent), or to raise (feed) the offspring. Without the cryorefrigerator you cannot get the new pets out of the cryopods unless on a server with the needed modification.

I’ve found that after you tame and grow your baby dino it wont stop following you and I’ve tried everything but I cant seem to get it to stop if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know

I considered that you would have to tame a Roo to kidnap babies ..this is so much easier...

Do these things feed them selves? when a high level has an extreme maturing period it seems impossible to feed them enogh. I fill them up with food, go take a nap and come back 8 hours later and they are dead. I left with the babies full of food.. just seems like something is broken in the way this works.
