    There are so many things you can do with the big bite. I got mine yesterday and I'm in love!

      You are going to be punching holes left and right! It's great for belts, even metal!

      I've used it to attach aluminum flat wire to my masks at the nose. I can't imagine why I didn't get this sooner.

      @@mallorikerr4092 Now that's BRILLIANT!!! You should make a video to show that - I bet many haven't even thought about that (like me) ❤

      I'm not good at doing videos. But it's the same process as attaching an eyelet to metal or fabric. Just in this case I'm attaching both together with a grommet.

    Thank you for doing the two hole punches side by side! And then punching fabric which is what I’m interested in using it for. Thanks again 😊

      Yes! I make fabric tags and fabric journals. So easy to punch clean holes through canvas, especially. Other fabrics you will need to help support with cardstock or something like that to get a clean hole. What are you making? Just curious! :)

      @@KitchenCounterCrafts I like to make bags & pouches. Was looking into getting a grommet punch & setting tool. This came up in my research. Wondering about using this to punch holes in pouches & bag straps to then add grommets.

    It is very confusing when we talk about eyelets and grommets. For instance, here in UK when inserting eyelets (all ones I have seen are 5mm) in corsets, we call them eyelets but corset makers in US seem to call them grommets. These are the ones with a washer. Without a washer the back, next to the skin, would be very uncomfortable and scratchy. Elsewhere we are told that grommets are 8mm and larger. Smaller ones are called eyelets. So, it can be so confusing but as long as we are clear we know what is being referred to it doesn't really matter. Your video has helped with the Crop-a-Dile as everyone has been saying the instructions with the pack are as clear as mud! I don't do any papercraft. Too many other hobbies, sewing, spinning (yarn), weaving, knitting, lacemaking and, probably, even more! Thanks for making it clearer as I wait for my new toy to arrive!

      YES! Wow! That's amazing you are a corset maker, Maggie! Do you have a TH-cam channel? I would love to see what you do! I looked up Eyelets vs Grommets. Turns out I was backwards on my definition. Eyelet= 1 Piece & Grommet = 2 Pieces (US)
      I actually thought it was the other way around that the eyelet was what you were saying (2 pc in the UK). I appreciate you pointing this out - especially if someone is ordering online! Thank you Maggie!!!❤

      @@KitchenCounterCrafts I don't have a you tube but I have followed Aranea Black. She has a couple of series going through the entire process. Fascinating. She is from Croatia but, beware, she does use bad language but she is very engaging and I find I can overlook it to a point. There are others but I haven't investigated them yet as I would spend all my time watching YT videos and not getting anything else done!!

    Ty for the video, but my big bite doesn’t squash the Eyelet like a flower on the other side it’s loose, any ideas. I may have a defect one. I just got mine yesterday, first one worked. It’s do hard to push down also. Thanks for any feedback

    • @KitchenCounterCrafts
      @KitchenCounterCrafts  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for watching! It sounds like it might not be balanced in the way it goes down to bite? Like pushing down more on 1 side vs another? Try with some regular eyelets for a bit and see if that chomper gets a little easier to use. Mine was like a workout at the start! I thought I would need to get some WD40 or something! But it seemed to relax just a bit more from use.
      Hope that helps!

    Hi, thank you for the video! Would you be able to use the Big Bite tool for acrylic and hard plastic? I've been interested in getting one to use on acrylic and hard plastic phone cases to make Diy Loopy Cases!

    • @KitchenCounterCrafts
      @KitchenCounterCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh how fun! I have definitely used it for hard plastic. It’ll chomp thru tin & metal, but I’m not sure about acrylic or resin. I think it would bite thru BUT my concern would be if it cracks!

      @@Marilena1320 I'm sure you've already used a Dremel? You could try the Big Bite, but I'm afraid if you are just buying it for the acrylic, it might not work.
      If you are buying it for other crafts, then it might be worthwhile to try?

    • @KitchenCounterCrafts
      @KitchenCounterCrafts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for watching, Cheryl! I'm glad it helped. So, for larger eyelets, I use the old metal setting set that looks like a metal stick and a small metal base. I say try it out with this because the ones I have in the video are still pretty big! Let me know how it goes... 🖋if anyone else has an idea for Cheryl, please comment!!!
