Glad to see you guys back making these beginner videos. Some of us already had our introduction to the hobby but life got in the way and we find ourselves at square one again. I have three untouched FT kits waiting for assembly.

With those linkage stoppers I bring the nut down tight and back off until it just turns freely, this takes out the slop and makes for a precise control link. Then secure with a touch of ca ( or hot glue shown here). The centering thing is very important, my club has 140 members and a good percent need to watch this video considering the planes I've bought, helped repair or have been given to me. It's a wonder some of them flew in the first place.

Is there a solvent that can be used to remove the hot glue from the linkage stopper nut? I've been using blue Loctite on the threads.

    Can I make a suggestion.
Why not make an overview video for these build and then link unlisted videos to each segment.
That way you not filling up my feed with videos I'm not going to watch that will affect your YT rating?
