Aonijie 5L vest is perfect for most distances. Bladder in back, one soft flask for electrolytes and the other holder I use for my phone and gels. In the back I still have some space for a headlamp, car keys and other essential stuff.

I'm a huge UD fan - before 2017 I used UD SJ3 for FM/short trail and UD AK3 for ultra trails. 2017 onwards I'm using UD TO3 for FM/short trail and UD PB3 for ultra trails. The soft flasks are made by HydraPak with lifetime warranty. Quality material and finishing - great products!

I own the UD women's vest which fits well and allows me to run w my nutrition bar and be handsfree. I keep the silicone bottles filled w water in the fridge overnight for my long run the next day. My girls freeze so bad. Lol.

Running Guru I've found that it's kind of unavoidable over 30oz, but just make sure you clear all the air out of the bag!

Running Guru Flip the bladder upside down, suck the air out of the drinking valve until water starts to come out. Should reduce the sloshing.

Personally, whenever I wear a vest, I always just carry water in the front pockets. I find that the water in the hydration bladder always starts to taste weird, almost like it's breaking down the inside of the hose or pouch itself.

i own a UD vest, but the hard-sided bottles are poor. Poor water delivery. UD needs to go back to the testing phase and re-release different bottles.
