There is one idea I’d love for Mojang to put in the game that NOBODY has talked about. Making the Witch a Neutral Mob. Think about it. Villagers are passive and Illagers are aggressive. It make a lot of sense if the Witch was neutral. A perfect middle ground for the villagers. Not only that, but you could trade with it. And lastly, if you do provoke it, it’ll fight back. Just like golems and enderman
Neutral at day hostile at night
The witch is a part of the raid so it will just be stupid to do
and also hostile in raids
This would be awesome because witches are so difficult for me to beat

Something I thought would be cool is if you could use different color wool for the pillow of the bed (2 white wool, 1 black wool for a black pillow and white sheets for example)

Yes that would be and adding designs on the pillow would be cool especially for things like themed builds but the problem is that it would make it 10 times easier to make a bed on the first night

in the old console editions of Minecraft, elytra race did have little updrafts with fire, they worked really well too
I used to play Elytra Race all the time with my friends, I kind of miss the built-in minigames on the console edition

Here's an idea: Elytra can be put on an anvil with a piece of armor and it will attach elytra to chestplate.

Redstone is a dust, so it would make sense that it can’t go up walls. But maybe you could combine it with copper in the inventory to make copper wires, which you can run along walls.

I’ve always wanted to be able to prevent saplings from growing into trees by covering them in soul sand. It would be great for builds where you need the saplings to stay there indefinitely.
or like how you do with other plants, use shears on the sapling to stop it from growing
You know what I would love? how about more recipes for Amethyst, and maybe some copper diving armor with bonuses like the helmet letting you see twice as far underwater, the chest piece doubling your air supply, or the boots doubling your swim speed.
After looking things up, the upcoming "Copper Bulb" has me interested. In RPG maps, it could be used as minor ambient lighting that could temporarily become a torch by stripping oxidization from it. I also think the Wolf Armor is amazing idea
but diving armor makes you slow not fast

A weird quirk I discovered in Java when using minecarts for entity cramming:
Instead of adjusting individual sound settings, just take your master volume slider to 0 and then back to its previous setting. For some reason, it kills the minecart noises (and only the minecart noises) until you reload the chunks.

It would be great if you could enchant tools with a concept enchantment I came up with called "Safeguard". It would be a treasure enchantment, and function kind of like the elytra--when all the durability is used up, it enters a "broken" stage where it doesn't do anything, but also doesn't disappear!

I want glowstone in a full armor set so when you go into a cave it'll light up the area you walk through and with the downside of not having that much protection just to make it fair .

Although I do agree with some of these, not all of them are realistic, and would just not fit Minecraft's brand. Visual upgrades would be amazing, and options to get higher visuals and lower visuals depending on your console.

The direction locking could enable vertical slabs
If I could ask for an update thsts small is to having a stretch sound when a bow is being pulled, and for the arrows to actually stick on mobs.
Ive been playing Turok 2 Seeds of Evil, and I fell in love with the base bow, and I think Minecraft should give the bow an update like this.
Maybe even have the hotbar arrow appear on top of the bow instead of inside it
Little reason on why Mojang probably won't be adding colossal or monster chests is because, imagine having up to 210000 Items in one chest. That's a lot for just one computer or pc to process. and think about the amount of time it would be just to load into that world. and with a monster chest it could probably crash your game once in chunk render. little to no computers could load in how ever many a monster chest could hold (you didn't specify but that's ok) so they'd end up having the max be triple chest's. P.S when you said wandering traders are useless. that's not true, wandering traders are INSANELY useful in a superflat world. Why? well the wandering trader can sell items such as different tree types which in normal superflat you can only get oak without the traders help, AND he can also sell sand which you have to dupe if you wanna use it, he can sell kelp, sugar cane etc. (And this is only if you're on classic superflat)
Torch arrows sould be more expensive, either they require more torches per arrow, (2 for 1, 4 for 3,) or the light is worse than a torch.

I think those silverfish blocks can make a good prank for someone's castle.

31:41 It becoming obsidian is just a dumb feature. It's a burned corpse, not made out of lava. Also, too grossly overpowered for something that could easily happen in early game.

Most useful Optifine feature, in my opinion. Dynamic lighting + flame bow (preferably Infinity.)

another cool idea when it comes to the Programmer art texture pack would be that people update the pack to fit the older minecraft style. if you use the this pack you have old nether blocks, but "new" nether biome blocks, wich feels and looks off

Witches could barter instead of trade: instead of trading with emeralds, they might want other items like rabbit's foot or redstone. Doing this would make gathering rare resources more logical (since items like amethyst and copper currently have practically no use), and that way it would balance out trading rare stuff like nether warts for a good price. This would make the witch much more useful instead of one of Minecraft's most annoying mobs.
Also to note that witches rarely drop something useful, or in high enough quantities. They could possibly drop more better items, or a higher quantity of items like glowstone.

I feel like the torch arrow one wouldn't work too well, as if the arrow lands on the corner of a block or the edge or something, the torch wouldn't be able to be placed, causing you to waste an arrow and torch.
maybe the torch would just drop as an item then
not sure, as this would mean you'd have to go get your torch back though lol. It sure would be a neat feature though!
Or maybe if it just hits the block it just attaches itself correctly on one of the faces.
Really good addition for the random generation of map are cities and towns (both ruins and complete), it is called Stories Revamp. All villagers are now categorized as 4 kinds: Willagers (follows the law of a certain city or town), Villagers (can randomly select their own professions outside cities), Illagers (hostile raiders), and Traders (nomadic villagers that wanders around the map, can sometimes have 2 camels with them, a caravan--that will introduce us our first manmade vehicle, carriage--and a merchant store)
so new villager type, normal villager, pillager, and wandering trader?

I think that was really early into the game, I recall you had to have two players with elytra and they would pull each other up.

you can only really mine stone with them, and swapping back and forth is tedious

how to fix the emerald armor/tool dilemma
step 1. make it so when you mine emerald ore you get raw emerald
step 2. you can put raw emeralds into a furnace and turn them into polished emeralds
step 2.5. polished emeralds are used to trade with villagers, but cannot be turned into raw emeralds and cannot be used for crafting.
step 3. you can craft the raw emerald directly into tools, with stats either inbetween diamond and netherite, or slightly over netherite.
The only thing Mojang NEEDS to do is revert back to 1.16. Every single update after that has been garbage.

i was just going to say leaves are already white in the snow biome. and also third person is very useful for a larger field of view, since the in game setting gives a sort of fish eye effect and that looks much worse than going into third person. best used when travelling long distances rather than to be used regularly

Something i like to be added is block arrows meaning in a crafting bench you can combine a block and a arrow to get a block arrow and then when you shoot that arrow whatever block you put into the bench would be placed and I can name a million siuations where this would be helpful
