    welp since i have no record history to go off of may end up doing this next
    first engine then trans and now diff
    what other oils shall be replaced next
    EDIT brakes were done first and the power steering leeked out so badly its practically flushed new

    Do you really have to take the cover off? Can't you just use the fill hole and a fluid transfer device

    Where the hell is the plug located? Location not shown in the video. Need to show better context to see where it's at, certainly it's not on the lid.

    You open the drain plug and nothing comes out? Lol

      Yep, that's how it is designed. Earlier models had both a "drain" and a "fill" plug. '05 and later strictly has a "fill" plug so nothing leaks out when you open it. You have to remove the differential bolts to drain or a suction tube to remove the fluid.

      Absolutely. Rear diff feels smoother and doesn't have the "slippage" feeling some experience with differentials that haven't had the fluid changed in awhile due to metal shavings building up over time in the differential.

    If you tow or go off road then you should change it every 30 thousand kilometers...
