So happy to see a new video! Thanks so much. I know the bears are pests, but when he turned around and rubbed on the tree, I have to admit I chuckled out loud…
Hi Tim. So happy you survived all the hurricanes!! I was concerned. Thank you so much for another great video. I just love seeing all the critters. We've have bear come to the bird feeder, tear it up and bend the pole. We got, what we think is a bear proof pole now. We'll see. So far so good. Everyone is welcomed to the seed, but not to destroy the vessel. We've had deer, turkey, raccoons, opossums, hawks, eagles and all kinds of birds. It is a joy to see isn't it. You take good care of you. You're the only Tim we've got. xo
Because of you I bought 3 Browning cameras and I love em! They are cellular. Excellent quality. I’ve had to call them for help with set up and they have excellent customer service. I don’t ever want to go back to any other. This West Virginia Granny thanks you.
I was just thinking about you the other day, wondering when you would post another great video. And here it is! I love your videos, so thank you for sharing them with us! I have several trail cams here, but so far I've only caught 2 deer cutting through the back of our property. I always get the stray cats I feed, and sometimes raccoons, opossum, skunks and a fox.
Perhaps you could build some type of deterrent at the bottom of the tree that would make it difficult for the Bear to approach your camera. Great Camera Pick up video as always. Keep up the good work. I've been watching for several years! Good luck!
When I get my notification that you’ve put up a video I normally goes straight for it. But alas, the first week in November was a bit of a mess. I’m here a little late, but the video is still wonderful.
I always look forward to your videos. have you ever thought about putting Cayann pepper on your camera to discourage the bears. It won't harm the bear but they will learn not to eat the camera.
I like the suggestions from other viewers about using cayenne pepper or ammonia. Another suggestion would be to wipe the camera with hand sanitizer - the "scent" we leave is mostly the bacteria on our skin. Just a suggestion...
Browning has metal covers for your camera. I know you like to check your camera a lot so you'd have to take the metal case off each time but a lot cheaper than having to buy new cameras because the bears are getting them.
Great video Tim ! So glad yr still at it. I see the look in yr eyes of age & tiredness. A bit of advice from a 62yr old. Buy a treadmill & walk on it everyday. Builds yr stamina tremendously. Its a small thing but it works. Loved all the activity. Looking forward to the next video. Not putting any pressure on u of course 😂.
Those bears love that camera 😂😂, may need to bring a ladder and put it a little higher! I’m sure that’s easier said than done. Enjoy your videos please continue!!!!!
Maybe you could put an old tore up camera below a good camera as a sacrificial target? Guess it wouldn’t be allowed to have a type of solar powered electric fence at least around the trunk near the camera? I know those Brownings aren’t cheap! Thanks for the great content!
Thanks for another great video!! Can you make a how to video showing some tips on picking out a camera. What setting to use? We are starting to get a lot of Mountain Lions in our area after all the California fires they are now going after pets and small livestock.
I am so surprised you haven't run across any rattlers back there. I know you have seen water moccasin a few times. I myself have come across a canebrake and two Eastern Diamondbacks my 3 and 1/2 years in St, Augustine, 94-97.
It got so bad here in NW Florida that I have to run a steel bear box on my cameras. Or leave the camera strap a little loose so the camera fall to the bottom of the tree when the bear grabs it sometimes that works
Start using the browning metal bear safes. They do a good job of protecting the cameras. A little expensive but it saves an even more expensive camera. They work for me.
Love these videos and love the animals. Do you ever see pythons out there? I know there were way too many, has the python hunting gotten control over the python population?
HEY TIM, other than human scent, why do bears chew on trail cams? I mean there are countless other things in their habitat to draw their attention. Also, the "attacking" bears your cameras have captured vary in age. So, it can't be blamed on hyperactive, overly curious, young bears If it is actually a reaction to human scent, it seems you could "mask" your scent on the camera case, etc. with Buck Lure or some other concoction that's natural to the environment, Yes, the rain will eventually wash away the "masking scent". But that scent will cover your scent & both scents will wash away. I think it's worth a try. I'm interested in your thoughts about "why" & I hope you'll reply to my question. Best regards from Yucatan Mexico, Ben
I worked as a black bear researcher for Clemson University and SCDNR. By far the best way to prevent camera damage is having a lock box. They don't bother with them as much and if they do, they only move them some.
@ Your pretty fortunate! I have lost several even though I put them higher up in a tree. Since then, I have used lockboxes from then on, especially on public land.
Whaaaat no storm footage or post storm damage ??.... What spraying them people were getting paid for walking in circles dragging around the wands lopping off random branches while the straw boss yells to scare off any local life.....😅
Tim, if you want to stop the bears from molesting your camera, take a piece of plywood about 2ft x 4ft and drive a couple dozen nails through it and lay the plywood on the ground at the base of the tree with the nails pointing up. It won’t take the bear long to learn not to mess with the camera when he steps on the point of a nail.
So happy to see a new video! Thanks so much. I know the bears are pests, but when he turned around and rubbed on the tree, I have to admit I chuckled out loud…
Pests? In what sense?
Always chewing on his camera…
Yay! I love it when your videos show up!!! Thank you so much for making them!!
Fantastic footage Tim. Another amazing episode! Thanks for sharing! Enjoyed 👍
Thanks for watching
Great to see you back
hey Tim, great video! Thanks for sharing!
That was cool 😎 thanks for all your efforts to show the wild life of Florida 😻
"I hope that this camera won't get eaten by a bear" first animal clip, bear is eating camera. ;) :P lol
I loved the lizard belly. 7:41
Brilliant Tim ! Ya that’s my favourite cams RCFA browning !! And then the Ceyomur CY 95 absolutely fantastic cams ! Great captures as always 👍👍
Thanks Tim, much appreciated, been following you a while✌️🐸
Thanks for watching
Man, I love your videos! Can't wait to watch it. Thank you.

Thank you. I've called Browning's customer service a few times and they have always been great to work with.
Man, those bears are definitely persistent! Great video! Thank for sharing.
Thanx for the vid and your time and effort 👍🇺🇸
Yaaaaahhhhh !! Good to see a new video !!
Thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing this video. The bears are always exciting to watch. ❤️🍂
Cool video, amazing how many bucks are using this area
"Hopefully that doesnt happen to you" - Instant bear appears

Thanks for watching
Great video! It’s good to see the bear playing around in front of the camera and the huge bucks too! Thanks for sharing
stop looking at me !........STOP LOOKING AT ME !!
When I get my notification that you’ve put up a video I normally goes straight for it. But alas, the first week in November was a bit of a mess. I’m here a little late, but the video is still wonderful.
Thanks for watching!
That bear carrying off that shed was unexpected.
I've seen that a couple times
Good stuff Tim. Always enjoy your videos.
Glad you like them!
I always look forward to your videos. have you ever thought about putting Cayann pepper on your camera to discourage the bears. It won't harm the bear but they will learn not to eat the camera.
Not a bad Idea
Thank you for sharing this video.
Those bears have definitely got it out for you
Really miss the date and time stamp with the videos. But great footage of the critters in the swamp.
I like the suggestions from other viewers about using cayenne pepper or ammonia. Another suggestion would be to wipe the camera with hand sanitizer - the "scent" we leave is mostly the bacteria on our skin. Just a suggestion...

Thank you! I'll have a few more videos soon.
A cub bear wreaks havoc as it gets older Lol
Great video, Tim. Aren't those bears so cute the way they chew on your camera!
It's funny as long as they don't destroy the camera. :)
That bear has a thing or two to say about prior restraint.
Sorry about your camera. As always, thank you for the video.
Those bears love that camera 😂😂, may need to bring a ladder and put it a little higher! I’m sure that’s easier said than done. Enjoy your videos please continue!!!!!
Black bears are excellent climbers. They can climb very very high in trees.
@ oh I know they climb but at least it will slow down the damage as he has to hold on to the tree
Great video. I miss the time and date stamp you used to have on the videos.
I miss the time and temperature stamps on all the videos…great videos nonetheless ❤
Maybe you could put an old tore up camera below a good camera as a sacrificial target? Guess it wouldn’t be allowed to have a type of solar powered electric fence at least around the trunk near the camera? I know those Brownings aren’t cheap!
Thanks for the great content!
Thanks for a great video.
8:59 Oh look he is cleaning the lens for you 🙂
Put the camera high up so the bears cant destroy it again . Thanks for a nice video!
thank you ...... happy holidays ..... i really enjoy this experience . i used to do it, thanks to you i can still do it . T H A N X
Does that spray harm the animals?
I spray my cams with scent killer...it helps keep the bears off of it..not 100% but it does help...obviously you want to cover the lens and IR ...
Hey, maybe wear gloves when handling the cameras, just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing with us! Beautiful animals❤
Thanks for another great video!!
Can you make a how to video showing some tips on picking out a camera. What setting to use?
We are starting to get a lot of Mountain Lions in our area after all the California fires they are now going after pets and small livestock.
Thanks. I'm going to be testing a camera in an upcoming video. I'll try to put in some of the settings I use and how I pick a spot to put a camera.
The saying here is The Squirrel sees you, The Deer hear you but the Bear smells you.
I still think you should use a Q-Tip to run a bead of ammonia around the edges of the camera.
I am so surprised you haven't run across any rattlers back there. I know you have seen water moccasin a few times. I myself have come across a canebrake and two Eastern Diamondbacks my 3 and 1/2 years in St, Augustine, 94-97.
I've seen one diamond back on the dirt road getting to that spot. I think it's too swampy where I put the cameras.
It got so bad here in NW Florida that I have to run a steel bear box on my cameras. Or leave the camera strap a little loose so the camera fall to the bottom of the tree when the bear grabs it sometimes that works
That bear is going to get his 15 minutes!
Start using the browning metal bear safes. They do a good job of protecting the cameras. A little expensive but it saves an even more expensive camera. They work for me.
Thanks Tim. Been a while and I sure miss your videos. Have you ever figured out what attracts the bears to your camera's.
I know the cable locks that I use have a plastic coating that smell funny when they get warm. There's some kind of fish oil on them.
😊😊😊
try putting a bad camera low on the tree to give the bears some thing chew on
Hey Tim, what species of trees or shrubs are those crews targeting with the spray rigs?
Florida has tons and tons of invasive plants. You can look up Florida EPPC to see them all. Invasive durt urg.
I'm not 100% sure. I know they target the melaleuca trees and Brazilian pepper trees mostly
Have you ever encountered a python in those swamps?
Amazing rut footage, what unit were you in ?
very good
That’s a lot of Bucks
The month of August is very busy for the bucks down here in south Florida.
The bears are always the ones that are very aware of things that normally don't belong in the forrest! Like a trail camera. So they remove it 😂
Hey Tim I wonder if there is a spray you can put on the camera that they don’t like the taste of?
I'm not sure.
Love these videos and love the animals. Do you ever see pythons out there? I know there were way too many, has the python hunting gotten control over the python population?
They pythons are mostly east of where I am.
Thanks
Tim, do you never worry about coming into contact with those bears out there?
I've had a few encounters with the bears out there. We usually just look at each other and go our separate ways.
Bear thought it was edible
How do these sheds keep popping up on the ground but we can't see the buck that drops them? 😂
I found the shed close by and I put it in front of the camera. I found that it was moved a couple times. :)
Be safe.
Didn't the Ceyomur pick up any night videos?
I had a bunch of night videos but I only put the best ones in this video.
Can a python cable be used on the c95??
Yes, there is a hole in the bracket for the strap where you can put a python cable.
I have just realized there are not any videos of boas. Are
The cameras just not set ip where they live? Or just sneaky?
They aren't in the areas where I have my cameras.
They can smell where a human's been. Bears don't like humans, with good cause. Maybe that's a reason for them to remover traces of him.
Don't speak for all bears.
@@artemis1style Well I've still got my old Teddy Bear, & we speak occasionally.😁 He looks like that..
HEY TIM, other than human scent, why do bears chew on trail cams? I mean there

They smell the batteries in the trail cam.
The python cable locks that I use have a weird smell to them when they get warm.
I worked as a black bear researcher for Clemson University and SCDNR. By far the best way to prevent camera damage is having a lock box. They don't bother with them as much and if they do, they only move them some.
Thank you. I don't mind the bears "tasting" my cameras a little just as long as they don't destroy them which has only happened a couple times.
@ Your pretty fortunate! I have lost several even though I put them higher up in a tree. Since then, I have used lockboxes from then on, especially on public land.
Those bears are awful! What makes them so much more attuned to the cameras being there?
Happy bear 🐻
❤❤❤
Why do you not raise the camera😂
I'm only 5' 7 1/2" tall :)
If you could somehow take your scent off the cameras that might stop the bears.
New subscriber. Nice videos.
Thanks Robert
Bear is a little OCD.
Tim you know if you find yourself some skunk urine you won't have bear problems anymore, lightly spray the camera with it 🥴
Interesting
You also want to make sure that your hands don't have soap that smelly excetera that may be attracting them more
Whaaaat no storm footage or post storm damage ??....
What spraying them people were getting paid for walking in circles dragging around the wands lopping off random branches while the straw boss yells to scare off any local life.....😅
Spray ammonia on the camera.
And if a random person or child looks at the camera. No illegal and irresponsible. Now on my own property....
Not a good idea on public property.
Also, could injure wild animals, what is the point (pun intended) of that?
The guys walking through with backpack sprayers, Stihl SG 20s. I wonder what they are spraying.
