I like this new trend of dirt pedals that blur the line between distortion and fuzz.
Not exactly new. This seems like a Rat based pedal, which has been doing the distortion fuzz thing since the late 70s.

no, i think you're right! i recently updated a bunch of my camera and lighting equipment. let's just say there's a learning curve. hahaha
