Well, when I said nobody can come even close to your storytelling, I meant exactly this. It's an absolute amazing adaptation of Poe's story. There's everything in it, it's eerie and sad, but so beautiful and you even added humor to it. It just can't be better. And even tho I know the sound recording has been a pain for this, all those little sounds are so immersive, it's so worth it. (Best sound quality on YT btw without a doubt). Also, huge tingles from those whispers and from the sound of the pencil. 🙏 So sad that poor Madeline ended up at the bottom of the lake, along with her brother and the house itself (and now with the cake, of course 😅). This is so creative and has a luscious undertone of wicked despair. It's a joy when you upload! I'm sure enough people let you know you needed to have cold water and sugar with your absinthe. That cloudy white makes the Green Fairy even more sinister. I love it but boy you had a party waiting! 💀The idea that the house stops screeching is a masterful touch. How frightening to have the power the reader has to calm elements that are supposed to be non-sentient! As usual, you've read a web of gorgeous images. Thank you so much!

There's something truly magical to you, where you perfectly embody the ghost of Madeline, engaged in hushed conversation with us despite the absence of any outsider in our little pocket of space-time, steeped in suspense and muddied with mystery, with a tinge of melancholy that cast its hue over the space- and over Madeline, who's as ashen as she's soft-spoken, fond yet unable to shake off the distance that came from her otherworldly constitution and the weight of her regrets, weight that she still clung to, desperately so, as she enacts and re-enacts the fall of the house of Usher. But just towards the end, when both of us rest on the same bed, one sketching and the other relaxing, that I felt immensely at peace, awfully at ease, as I occasionally glance at her direction, woes tossed to the deep depths next to her regrets like sediments on a watery bed, and enjoy the slight respite before we greet the next dark day together. You are straight up sensational, oh my gods.
