Civil is not qualified to plan . They don’t plan according to function and they cannot approve the plan as well they are trained in providing stable structure. So do what you are meant to . Architects are licensed professionals by govt to plan . You cannot and you should not .

Architect aur Civil Engineering dono hi apni jagah best hai. civil engineering me structure aur calculation par jyada focus diya jata hai. architecture me creativity aur designing par jyada focus diya jata hai. depend karta hai aapka interest kis chij me hai. civil engineering karke aap kahi se interior designing ka course kar lijiyega. maine khud civil engineering + bad me interior designing ka course kiya hai. ye sabse best combination hota hai jisme aapko civil engineering ke sath bahut sari architecture ki bhi knowledge mil jati hai. is topic par mai detail se video banaunga.

Yes if you are creative and have vision then you can go for architecture and have a license to design building. Being a civil engineer you cannot design a building you can only do structural part .
