    Considering the time and effort it requires, very few tiles could be produced per day and will shoot up the production cost. Since the process requires craftsmanship and hand precision, the engineering quality of tiles cannot be measured or guaranteed. The holder with a small hole is a weak point and once stacked will be prone to breaking. Once the tile is dried, it will require more man hours to clean up the excess cement around the tiles, not to mention cleaning the rubber plates and molds for next batch.
    This is a terrible way of making tiles. It is neither artisan, nor is it well designed or well engineered.
    You are better off making a slow boat to China.

      Thanks for your input Parry roof tile systems like this have been in the market for 40 years and we regularly make improvements. Some people are producing in excess of 500 tiles a day on this machine to a high standard of quality and we have countless thousands of roofs across the world many of which are in good condition after 40 years using Parry tiles.
      We provide certified training and comprehensive instruction manuals and videos to maintain good quality tiles unlike metal roofs these tiles reflect more sunlight away, are aesthetically much better looking, much quieter during the rain and do not interfere with mobile phone signals like steel does. We also provide an electric version of this machine.

      @@oliver_gledenning I would be a good student. I am interested and have over 15 years of construction experience. Q Could your machine accept the red clay tile mixture? IE, does your company provide alternative materials to portland cement tiles? I believe the clay tiles would require Kiln Firing.

    • @oliver_gledenning
      @oliver_gledenning  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tommaika9121 Hi Tom thanks for your message. My company does currently supply clay tile production equipment but we are working on a much improved version reducing heating temperatures by 80% using plant oil and no extra water to mould clay and heat it using a encapsulation process rather than a ceramic process. We have bee working with a top university and have now received a licence for it. Just to imagine the benefits a kiln that fires upto 40,000 bricks/tiles requires tons of firing materials to be heated upto 1000 degresse centigrade for several hours and on average the waste ratio is at least 10% so that's 4000 bricks wasted during the firing process which is enough to build a small house. Through encapsulation process we use a lot less heat achieve a brick strength of above 12.nm2 so zero waste and the bricks and tiles can be coloured any colour a much more environmentally friendly product in comparison to clay tiles or Stabilised soil bricks with the added benefit of being able to be coloured any colour with the addition of iron oxide pigments. "Carbon neutral bricks and tiles coming soon!"

      @@oliver_gledenning How in the world can someone produce in excess of 500 tiles a day when based on your video it took approximately 4 minutes to produce one tile. There are only 1,440 minutes in a 24 hour period. Please do your math again.

    Seen some.of the sad and objective comments on here regarding production time you can view videos of the tiles on this machine been made in 2 minutes or less. Also if you visit our Facebook page you will see plenty of excellent quality tiles being made which last 40 years
    Our company name has changed Build Works Solutions. www.buildworks.solutions. This machine also makes 50 other products.

      @oliver_gledenning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually like I've said before this is a training video within a day you can produce 500 tiles one every 45 seconds . And unlike electric machines this has little to no maintenance and running costs within a few days you could produce a roof 🙂many thousands of people have roofs from our products thank you very much that have lasted 40+ years.

    Way to complomplicated set up..Chinese have 200 foot track where the screed the portland in place in a long mold. It automatically vibrated makes thousands of tiles in hours.. the system is maual operated..way better than this setup.

    • @ollieglen2759
      @ollieglen2759 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes and how does that help in areas with limited power? Also this machine can make everything for a house not just tiles but blocks columns & pavers as well. Which is why weve sold many of them. 🙂 Also some Chinese machines have a habbit of breaking within 1 year, whereas this machine has a 5 year guarantee and an average 20 year durability 🙂

      @@ollieglen2759 tell that to old worker who work all his life... then when you 80 everything is in pain from being overworked in your body..
      Work smart not harder..your setup is out dated and labour intensive and to slow......you need to have a series of 100 -200 mold in a troff..and screed them in one or two passes..and remove the molds..the chiness do this all without electricity and make hundred of tiles on 10 min..no electricity need

      @@772777777777777 for starters the worker doesn't touch the machine when making the tile so cant get white finger. Secondly this is a training video so you can make a tile every 30 seconds. So you can easily make 500 in a day. Thirdly this machine is portable I can put it in my car which i very much doubt you can do with your chinese machine, so it is very relevant and we sell multiple machines a month FYI and we are always upgrading our equipment. People have built houses for $5000 from all the components made on this machine in East Africa 🙂
