I love this era of kpop, the old school style music video, the clear vocals and basic rap. I became a kpop stan from 3rd gen but new fans these days will never see their favs having an old school era, since they all debut "perfect" now 😭

But ofcourse you can't see the orginal content that was created in 2009 in 780 or 1080p since the original quality when it was uploaded was only 480 at the time. If you can't watch on 1080p or 780p for newer content lets say fx you can't watch BTS - Boy with luv on 780p or 1080p... then theres definitly somethin wrong with your youtube or internet

Boves Z - Thanks for the history! I got hooked on kpop in 2014 when I first heard “Bar Bar Bar” by Crayon Pop. Today I listen to girl groups almost exclusively. I guess I have Wonder Girls to thank for paving the way for my favorites like Red Velvet, TWICE, OMG, GFriend, CLC, WJSN, Orange Caramel, etc (the list of fantastic kpop girl groups is amazingly long including the ones you mentioned!)
This MV says a lot about what happens with kpop through the last 10 years. Just look at this, simple clothes, the type of song that maybe only a small rookie group would do nowadays and they probably would flop. But this was HUGE back in the day. The musical taste has changed a lot.
For real, tell me was not impressive as a song neither overwhelming nor the MV either, but it's catchy, simple to hear and it's something very important for a song to be successful, and also the clothes are simple and accessible, anyone could have clothes like that in their closet and many people of those times dressed in that not so extravagant way.

누가 뭐라해도 2007년 당시 원걸 텔미가 엄청 유행이었던건 반박불가지 않나? 학교 축제만 하면 여학생에 여장한 남자애들이 추는건 기본이었고 UCC 열풍에 힘입어 유딩부터 어르신분들까지 남녀노소 텔미 춤 추는 영상은 항상 올라왔었음. 맨날 트로트만 부르시던 우리 학원쌤도 텔미 춤도 출 줄 아셨음. 그리고 2007년 가을에 나온 노랜데 2008년 초까지도 이 노래가 흘러나왔음 더 말하면 입만 아프지ㅋㅋ 진심 내 초등학교때 추억이 잘 담겨있는 노래...
