Awesome presentation. The mind, observant without the need to speak, quiets the pathways that hinder areas required for the deeper thought process of analysis and learning. In dance, the music may be played, then, the choreography is introduced/ demonstrated w/o music, our movements, even in sync, have subtle distinctions. Movement with or w/o music evokes feelings, and those feelings are a common experience, movements translate feelings- dance is a universal language, as deeply embedded in culture today, world-wide, and evolving, So do many languages. Signing, as well, evolves, and adopts new, slang- and 'pop' expressions, all has manifold neurological benefits, expanses connectivity, and so, inevitably, elevates well-being. I want to get my ideas across freely, no matter what language is spoken or anyone's ability to hear clearly, or not at all. I am hearing, I feel learning sign is a healing, dynamic, and relevant skill.
