- L’Andrea ens porta a visitar al Joan Chamorro, l’home que va ser el seu mestre i que ara l’acompanya al contrabaix al quintet que ella lidera. Junts recorden els dies en que el Joan la va animar a dedicar-se a la música perquè en va veure el talent. Per l’Andrea, tocar amb el quintet és molt bonic. Tots es coneixen de fa anys i és aquesta complicitat, la que els fa ser una formació tan bona. Ha estat un camí llarg que l’Andrea ha anat fent fins a guanyar-se un lloc.
Tot seguit veurem com l’Andrea compagina la música amb la seva família: la seva parella, en Christoph, i el seu fill Cel. No ha estat fàcil, però l’Andrea ha aconseguit que cap de les dues vides interfereixi massa en l’altra i, de moment, coexisteixen sense gaire problemes.
Finalment, veurem com l’Andrea prepara un nou treball discogràfic de fusió amb Hip Hop. Els visita Steven Kornet, baixista i productor musical que l’acompanya en aquest nou projecte, juntament amb en Christoph Mallinger i el pianista big Yuki, que ha vingut expressament dels Estats Units. La por i les ganes de començar un nou projecte no aturen ni enceguen l’artista que, de ben segur, tindrà un altre èxit entre mans.
Aquest curt documental ha estat gravat per LA CHULA PRODUCTIONS per al programa Efecte Collins de RTVE Catalunya.

She is very inspiring. She’s not trying to be Taylor Swift or Beyoncé. She found her groove and performs with passion. I wish her all the success she deserves.

I'm so thrilled to hear about the success you two (three) are enjoying. I wish I still lived in Europe. I would be going to your concerts as often as I could. Now, I'm content to watch on TH-cam. I just got a pocket trumpet I can’t wait to play like Andrea Motis. I really wish I could understand Spanish I love all the music performed by this group they are my absolute favorite. I even listen to the songs in Spanish cause the are so lovely
Music is the universal language. :-)
Few of their songs are in Spanish. Many are in Portuguese and some in the Catalan language. Andrea also sings in English and French that I have heard.
