Testing the new Omega bands in .55 electric white. Tapered 22-14mm, 550% elongation, nowhere near maxed out. 9.5 or 3/8 steel.

I really appreciate that buddy your a big help to me my friend. I just started making my own bands so alot of it is new to me with the numbers and things but I really love it I'm 57 years old and always enjoyed shooting slingshots when I was younger but the last 5 years I really seen how good someone can get with all the new things out there. I even bought a descent amount of slings I have the SCOUT XT and LT and just got the PRO X which shoots really good and some other GZK SLINGS which I really love but the most expensive one I bought is the SNIPERSLING MINI ROBBIN in white. I am short draw and ordered the .6, nice and easy draw cut at 150 mm. These bands are stretchy in a good way. Cool intro by the way👍🏼

Hey buddy when you say .55 do you mean the band thickness. And if the number goes up higher like .7 or .07 does that make the bands even thicker

Yes .55 means the bands are .55mm thick. So .6 is thicker and heavier, and .7 is thicker and heavier yet. People tend to use slightly thicker bands for short draw, or heavier ammo, or in the cold. Any other questions, just let me know brother!👍👊

Yes it was 9.5 steel, and only 550% elongation. They can stretch to 700% max. Not to mention I have relatively short arms lol.
