i followed the steps literally for removing my car dashboard even though my mazda is standard option and there is a slight difference in the setup. anyhow, thanks for this creative illustration, it is valuable! i luv mazda
I just bought a new OEM dash pad for my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 and I like this video. Mazda actually did a recall for warped, gooey and even melting dash pads on the 2010-13 Mazda 3 series, but according to my parts guy the other day it has been reduced to a TSB now.
@@johndefenderfer5946 I'm honestly hoping its like the old material, luckily mine hasnt warped yet but im taking notes, im worried a new dash might be more firm
This came up in my recommended videos recently. The title of this video is a bit misleading. You don't need parts or to disassemble quite this far to remove the "Instrument Panel". This video goes into a much deeper removal. I never had to remove any airbag modules or remove any speakers or vents or anything like that just to remove the Cluster. This is more of a complete dash removal process :) This is way too much disassembly on a BL Mazda3 just to remove the instrument cluster. Great video if someone wants a complete strip down, but maybe change the title to say it is a complete strip down, not just removal of the Instrument Cluster.
sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Kyree Koa i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
This may sound obvi, but if you just wanted to get to the radio harness couldn't you just skip to 3:30 and avoid pulling the passenger's components apart??
It appears all Mazda3, not just the 2014+, have an occasionally "tick" or "tap" around the passenger A-pillar. And the TSB that is supposedly applicable to the 2014+ models does not seem to permanently fix what was listed as the problem. Was there anything about the mounting of parts that may be a source?
I have a mazda 3 2010 it had a dashboard recall i took it to the dealer they replaced it for free now 4 months after there's a short circuit in the car all the lights on nothing works now nobody is responsible just be careful when you let mechanics work on your car.
Why does this look like it was filmed in 1985?
Asking me the same
Lol
The background music 😂

@@ZoomZoomBoomx It actually is not a bad job. My main issue was that I forgot to unbolt the bracket for the passenger side airbag so be aware of that.
@@johndefenderfer5946 hows the quality on the new dash, is it like the old?
@@SkylarSpooko It's hard to tell but I would doubt Mazda would replace one defective part with another.

I´ve been waiting for a video like this one for so long! I need to replace the dashboard on mine. thanks
Jose Javier Pineda hey do you know how to remove the shifter plate??
Jfk Clinic just pull out? gotta unscrew the knob
dont need to cut a pillar retaining plastic, just twist and pull out
On the glovebox side, I didn't remove kick panel, nor did I remove glove light. I just disconnected the bulb.

Thanks for this, would you mind adding the year/model to the video title as this is specific to 2009-2013 mazda 3s. thanks!
channelKERR correction 2010 to 2013 Mazda 3. 2004 to 2009 is first generation Mazda 3.
Thanks for this, was looking for a 2008 model dissasembly. Cheers!
Спасибо коллега!!!
If you're only replacing the instrument cluster, just watch from 7:35.

The vin number it's on the dashboard? And you need to remove too?
All this just to get access to the dash light?!?
Looks like you only need to do what's mentioned from 7:35, the rest of it is for the crash pad on the dash.
Thank you 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
