I've been studying personal colour theories for well over 2 years online through researching. I'm glad you highlighted how ambiguous and difficult it can be. It takes time to train your eye to see cool vs warm
Looking back, cherry-red would've helped tonnes. I could only rest easy when I got a foundation match to confirm my temperature.
I lean cool but I also have yellow in my skin being Pakistani, thank you for explaining about Asian skintone.
