I was a huge Holly Dunn fan. I hope you will feature more of her songs. Holly never got the level of recognition she justly deserved. I really hope and pray to see her rediscovered by a whole new generation of fans. Holly passed away of Cancer in 2016. My Father died of Liver cancer in 1997. He was an Engineer on the Union Pacific Railroad for well over 30 years.
@@Alma-z6e Holly had a very solid career going for her up until Mid 1991. When absurd attacks by radicals that her song "Maybe I Mean Yes" which had been the CMT pick Hit Video and debuted higher on the any song she'd ever had would encourage date rape. She should have just ignored those trouble-makers and the whole thing probably would have blown over in a couple weeks or so. Instead, Holly voluntarily made the conscious decision to have the song pulled from radio playlist, the video taken off CMT and TNN and to stop performing the tune in her live shows. All to apse some crazy feminists groups with dirty minds and obviously zero sense of humor. Now you would think she would have earned a great deal of respect for this. That's not what happened, instead she was pretty much Blacklisted by Country Radio from that point forward. Virtually at the same time this happened Garth Brooks was being accused of celebrating Domestic violence in his video to "The Thunder Rolls". He didn't yank the song or video, rather let it run it's course and got another Number 1 song out of it. Poor Holly tried to do the right thing and was punished for it anyway. That is just so totally unfair. I'm still damn angry about this all these years later.

Being a female it’s always difficult to get recognized in any area . Great song!

Great song! Only the best from the past.
Listening to the lyrics makes me understand the importance of having both female mother and male father in a household.
