I usually don't miss performers when they die, but Jimmy was special. I miss him and tear up each time I hear him sing now.
We were spoiled in Austin. He was so great.
The best part of Jimmy he always had talented people playing with him and always shared that spotlight with them.. miss you Jimmy

My wife and I would travel to catch Jimmy live. One night after a show in Conroe, Texas my wife and I were talking with him and my wife said to him " voice like that'll get a man laid every night."
