This video is amazing! I just built an Colfenor deck because I already had a Doran the seige tower tribal treefolk and wanted another treefolk commander. He is soo underrated! Commander quarters has another great video about him
colfenor is my third deck, and he is is just amazing. Certainly not competitive, he is too slow for that. But a big deal of fun. A big plus is that you can play it dirt cheap. You get a multitude of 10cent cards that go infinite with it. My deck mostly generates value by utilizing stuff like sakura, primal druid, emissary etc to ramp mana. Then there is a big ammount of creatures that actually pay for them selfes if you can sac them in a circle. Like memnite, moonvessel, bloodpet etc. The win usually comes from death trigger pings like cutthroat, poison tip, bloodartis and so on. Cards like tormond or open the graves that give you a 2+ toughness token on death or graveleave will immediately go infinite with any card that pays itself. So e.g. you got moonvessel + open the graves + sac outlet => sac moonvessel (for 1 colorless). Get a 2/2 zombie, sac the zombie, get moonvessel back to hand. Cast it for the mana it generated => sac it again, get a zombie => infinite death triggers. With persist effects (e.g. cauldron of souls) or undying effects you can also generate value before you are infinite. Example: if you have primal druid, seedguida ashe and undying evil you can fetch like 9 lands in a turn while retrieving other cards from your graves aswell. There is so many different cheap cards that can pull it off, that you can easily build a sub 70€ colfenor deck that can realiable combo off like turn 7 and till then also generate quite some value. Again, too many cards to get infinite and too slow to be competitive. But cheap, fun, you can always interact, you got a variety of options to switch things up, you can always pimp the deck cheaply. Highly recommend it if you are not playing in a competitive enviroment.

So i cant get it any better than this :D One more thing i have to say: I feel this is a very fair and enjoyable deck for both you and your opponents. When i started i was really bumped by games where you play like 40 minutes and then someone plays a tutor and pulls a "i win at instant speed now"-2-card-combo. This deck will win with infinite combos but the enemy does see it coming. there is time to react, to interact and to do something about it, even in low powerlevel. Its not like a kinnan that just requries like 2 cheap cards to get infinite mana and then auto-win with his active. This deck wont come out of nowhere, play all key pieces in one turn and win. It builds up to it and this will allow for you struggling to pull it off and your opponents struggling to stop it. Wich to me is more fun than going "I cast A, i cast B. Any counter? no? i win!"

Thank you! I appreciate the deck tech, especially because it features surprise cards not on EDHrec. I was trying to understand how to use this guy since I've opened him in a booster. The most bummer thing about him is his severely limited utility: needs three colors, costs a massive 6 in total, does nothing until something of yours dies, and then finally he returns a creature - with the hoop that it needs to have lesser toughness - to your hand, not even to the battlefield.
I’m new to commander but I love playing Mr. Colfy aka Mr. Coffee. Um… Deathrender… which is also not mentioned by EDHRec… AT ALL. It’s like bootleg Reanimation. Gift of Immortality is super awesome but it doesn’t combo as good with Teysa Karlov 😉
I'm willing to collaborate and help out for bit or just consult. Just want your channel to succeed (I'm selfish on that part). Either way, keep it up!! Loving it.
