- 추석 연휴를 이틀 앞두고 추석상을 차리기 위해 서울 동대문 경동시장을 찾은 수많은 인파 속에서 팔월 한가위의 넉넉함을 느껴 봅니다. 서울시 동대문구 제기동 1035번지 일대에 위치하고 있는 경동시장은 1960년 6월 시장개설 허가를 받은 후 시내에서 모든 농산물을 골고루 갖춘, 가장 싸게 파는 시장으로 자리를 잡았으며, 국내 최대의 인삼시장이 개장되고 한약 전문 상가도 형성되어 외국의 관광객들까지도 거쳐가는 관광명소로서도 잘 알려지게 되었고. 근래에는 수산물 시장까지 생겨 제수를 장만하려는 고객들도 발길이 잦아졌으며, 의류전문 상가와 화훼 전문 상가도 개장되었습니다.
We look around one of conventional markets, Gyeongdong Market, in Seoul, Korea. We can see a lot of visitors, who try to buy items for Chuseok Holiday, in the market on the occasion of festive days in Korea.
