i ran about govan in the 80's and the show folk were there all the time the girls ues to go about with us and they were great girls i remember it all well about 4 years ago one of them approached me at the irn bru carnival she remembered me from all those years ago the show people gave us great enertainment and a lot of good friends......thanks to you all for my younger years and good luck to you all

I live in Govan,from Maryhill originally,but have lived here for 10years,my father is a retired ship builder,who worked in govan so before i moved there i knew a bit about the place,I loved this video because my family generations ago were gypsies so I've got a lot in common,and I'd love to be a show woman,to be free.... :0)

I remember the shows very well I remember the year I got a gold fish and a candy apple and I was was that drunk walking home I ate the goldfish and tried to put the candy apple into a sink full of water.
