Captain kleenan is a great fellow. He only has nice things to say about you and his loyalty shows . Its hard to find a loyal employee anymore . God bless all kf you.
Yup lucky to have him and Jerry
The GoPro does not reveal gradient at all. The mud sliding indicated there was slope but the aerial view gave the entire story of how much fall-off there was beyond the pond. Thanks again for the complete picture of the small project; the GoPro cameras used by all TH-camrs do not provide the actual topography, i.e. we never know what exactly you are seeing until the camera is mounted away from the machine. Nice rescue by the way, you saved the camera to be used another day; great job.
Your correct it so had to show slope
Slip skidding away. You and Wade seem like you have a fabulous time together.
Yes sir we do for sure
Thanks for sharing your adventures, nice simple setup for watering the cows. Super stick worked well, nice split screen on the controls. Loved the mudslide, was hopeful to see a few buckets of swamp slime to chase a few of the incomplete runs down the hill. Glad you found your camera. Sort of like picking which line to stand in at the market, one post either way would have been safe. 😂 Was priceless footage though, just try to reproduce that one, not ever. Still love the drone footage of the area you live in. Stay safe, wishing you and your family the best.
Thanks Tom
I asked letsdig18 for this and YOU came through for us!! Thanks Mike!
i love your neighbour, straight talking, shoots from the hip, no nonsense type of guy. brilliant lolol . nice job on a potentially mucky operation
It's great when what you dig out takes care of itself!! cool mud slides!
May I suggest you use 'survey tape ribbon' on the mounts as a flag. Between you and the Capt., the cameras need a fighting chance at recovery. LOL Great video, thanks for taking the time, we know it isn't always easy.
That mud going down the hill was golden, especially when it hit the camera 😂😂
lol
New hill for sledding. Lol. Just need a stop at the bottom that won't hurt.
This was funniest video. Fun to see how mud slides down the hill. BTW that mud liquid gold for the ground.
Also I have noticed quite a big erosion of hill close to house at the end of video. That land slides one day can affect the farm house if not deal with it.
Thank you for video.
No concern it’s the chirt line
What a tar pit. The reach on that is impressive.Always enjoy watching you work that. That muck must have had some serious weight.
Yup and thanks
All of y'all have a beautiful place wish i could have a place like that thanks DP
Thanks terry we do love it here
Dirt Perfects version of a Slip and Slide. 👍😱😂
lol
Yeah. You can go first!
Timothy Ball 🤣😹🤪😝😂😱🙀
Nice vid DP. Lots of unpredictable action. That extension works great. And why don't you get a new seat for the old girl. She deserves it !!!
With the angles, shots, and abuse Mike puts his go pros through, go pro should sponsor him!
Agree
Black gold, Texas tea as Jeb would say! LOL nice video
Lol 😂
That's a big slip and slide! Great videos! Thanks for sharing.
lol yes it was
The sacrifices made for good dirt perfect video. Thanks for the great shots
lol
Great video have a great day and stay safe 👍
Thanks Greg
loved the two views of the stick and the controls.thanks
Thanks
Yep that’s some nasty stuff in 1 more pond except this one starts out looking like a big mud hole. Good job showing controls. 👍
I hear you are heading to Florida soon . Have fun down there.
Will do thanks
Thanks for showing the hands on part, good to see how it all works. I am going out this am 20 degrees to find a water leak on one of my rentals, looks like a broken line from the meter. Not my plans for this day. Would rather have you do, but I am in Central Oregon and could not afford the travel time. Great show today!
Oh not don’t sound like Any fun at all
Curt, I know people that can help you. Where are you, Redmond?
That was perrty slick ,good vidja !
Thanks don
Hi Mike at least you fertilize Sum field for them. Ya I bet it was a little tence sitting on the dam . In the drone shot I see the have had some definite sloughing of their hillside in a few places. Great job with the e super stick . Thanks for posting buddy 👍👍🇨🇦 Craig
Always enjoy watching The Derby Indiana Dredging Company at Work . Like your (2) camera set up too .very clever indeed !
Thanks Eddie
Awesome video Mr dirt perfect you almost went in the pond. Thanks for sharing it
Thanks for watching buddy
At the end I thought you were flying the drone back to your shop. Maybe you were just checking if Mrs. Dirt Perfect was at home.
Certainly showed how close you actually are to Logger Wade.
Next challenge is to fly from your house to show us Captain Kleeman’s house. 😉
👍 I can do it
good job dad
Thanks
Glad you found the GoPro, be a bummer to miss out on your Mud Slide.
Your 120 was making some strange bell sounds. Lol
lol
Glad you found the Go pro! Great job! Great video!
Me to thanks
The split screen made me feel like I was sitting in the middle of that stinky mud pond. It was awesome!
Okay my guess is with out your telling is the stick is the reg. Bucket control and the bucket is the thumb control
so that is how you and logger wade know each other
Neighbors and good friends
Cool video Mike!
Action-packed and great job with the split-screen cab views.Nice drone recap at the end buddy.
Doug@ the "ranch"
Thanks buddy
Super !💪
One of these days your Gopros are going to be in group Therapy together. Comparing what they have been through. Poor poor Gopros. Lol God bless
lol I know
Good video!
Thanks
Started yesterday setting up for CONEXPO
Awesome
@@DirtPerfect keep a eye open for a vehicle out there by you
That was amazing, it was worth the sacrificed camera.
Lol thanks
looks like primordial ooze Or a good spot for a mud bog
Loved the mud slides. Let gravity take care of it.
17:38 WOW....You can see some rather serious looking land slippage...Would be worth planting the odd tree and plenty of shrubs.
I think it's a bit too late for preventive measures. The amount of dirt that is breaking away there takes whole trees with it if needed.
Looks like it need serious pinning to stop the erosion. They must get a lot of water there as you can see the water in the fields below as he pans the camera.
From the aerial I was a little worried about the erosion on the slope in front of the farm house.
Nope just the chirt line
Can't blame that one on Captain Calamity this time!
True
Great video, thanks😁 phil getting donged was comical🤣he just tells it like it is! I bet that gopro had a smell to it!
lol it wasn’t to bad
Good job on all love all video from DP PEPSI PERFECT THANKS DP
Thanks terry
Life is always just as fun.
I dropped a camera when it was -13F and it burst.
Oh no Thant’s not good
Good endorsement for GoPro.
lol yup
Now, that hillside is gonna grow some mean grass next summer!
Think of all the fuel you saved by having your spoil pile spread itself.
#DPpreventsclimatechange
lol exactly
I have to relax get my rithem and not over think it and then I do fine.
Good mudslide video. If you Watch Brandon from Elite that is what I wanted too send you & Mrs. Dirt perfect.
Good video... I know that was a tough job. Have a great job.
Thanks
Hey Dirt Perfect i just wanted to tell you my dad and i are big fans of your channel we run Dirt Works Excavating up here in northern Indiana Knox, Indiana to be exact....... you inspired me to start my channel up and i seen this video and decide to make a video about my stick extension that i built and run on my 270 and i wanted you to know and i hope you don't mind i did mention you in my video giving you the credit for giving me the idea to make a video about my extension the videos not up yet
Not a problem at all and that’s awesome 😁
Best of luck with the channel
Awsome!!! And thank you my channel is going to also cover my fabrication projects and our farming operations so I'm thinking it should be a exciting channel.....if ever we get down that way maybe we can shoot the breeze for awhile and I could get a autograph from you and logger Wade!!!!!
Absolutely let me know when you might be thru this way
Awsome!!! I sure will!!!
You should start a new mud slide for people? Remindes me of Wood Stock. Oh already invented.
😂😂
Oh by the way captain got the New machine muddy. and he like the blade on it. He did do and awesome job
Yup
If you keep recording like you do you might want to get a tracking device for the go pro, like the cube. Then you can find it with your smart phone.
👍
good video
Thanks
Heard from Chris Guins today that a bunch of TH-cam operators are heading to Florida for some R&R. We'll miss the uploads, but wishing you a fabulous time down there. BTW Will you be acting as interpreter for Logger Wade? 😉 😕 ❓
lol yup heading out tomorrow
Video on super stick was good 👌 how long take u to get used to
Not to long 1/2 day maybe
Was the pipe not suppose to be there? Thank you and have a great day
I would appreciate if you would have a remote mic, so the closed captioning could pick up your voice. These video's are much more interesting when I can read what you are saying. I am somewhat hearing impaired.
Sorry 😐
That's some nasty pond mud, but I bet it sure would make nice flower bed or garden soil once it dries out!
Yes it would
But at least you got the camera back! :-)
That was good work there though! :-)
Very true
How deep is that pond? I don't know if I could ever get the hang of a second jib boom as the controls just go upside down and the sides are straight down so if cow slides in then the water is gonna taste different after that. We have muskeg and it don't have a bottom per say but they say that everything does so just how many miles? The government built the Alcan road and for a while they thought they could find it by sinking a machine in it but after five d8's in a row in less distance of a track that was out.... funny thing was some of it did come back, just not there. I was over a mile away where some came out and of course not a thing savable after taking a mud spa
Ole pappy Phil. Lol. I bet that stuff coming out of the pond didn't have a nice smell to it. Lol
lol it wasn’t bad
@@DirtPerfect lol okay. That's surprising. Lol
That was fun watching the mud slide......until it started heading for your camera!
Lol I know right
Can you do that again without the distracting Pespi cans?
Let me get my time machine
👍👍👍
Hey Mike
Hey Robert
Seeing all the slumping ground in the background and the runaway mud sliding down the hill kind of explains why the other pond dam failed. Ok, not kind of but why.
What is that pipe or line that you were working about. I was listening but I couldn’t hear what it was
For watering the cattle
Dirt Perfect does it run to something
Earlier time and place I think you'd beat ol ben Franklin on inventing electricity. Make it look easy.
lol thanks Andy
Look how signs the check and that's how place it is. Lol
Letsdig18 Jr but with a 120
I just knew it was gonna take out the camera once I seen it sliding down the hill. You sure that you're not Jed Clampet and hit oil cause that stuff sure looks slicker than **** (ding) added a little Phil bell there for ya!
Lol 😂
Pond maintenance seems the perfect use for the super stick. Besides clearing weeds, dredging out sludge, and increasing the capacity to hold water, is there another reason to clean them out besides providing water for cattle?
Yes it works very well for this type of job
@@DirtPerfect Judging by how fast that mud slid down hill, it must help with land erosion as well. Looks good DP. Cheers!
Mikey you can't be dongging Phil on his own property , bless his heart. Great vid with ol 120. Did they try to pay you in lumber by the way? Glad you found your GoPro , thanks for showing.
When are you going to start using your Volvo??
Videos will be up next week
Put some rocks in your back pockets. That’s what I do on my crane.
👍😂
Love the drone footage brother
Thanks
all turtles are ok.
Yes sir
Love the videos. I ran across another trackhoe video that uses a swivel on the end of the boom. Just wonder if you ever saw one like it. The site is ...hedblom...on TH-cam. Keep up the good work
Thanks Steve and yes I have
That Swede is awesome!
Wade do you know how to use it now
He could do it
I know I’m just joking
Nothing I hated more than building a road through a swamp.Like cleaning out the cow’s watering hole
From the first bucketful I was thinking I bet that muck smells very uuhhh farmmy?
Lol wasn’t to bad
Did you sold the Volvo to Captain? he's using it
No he works for me 🤷♂️
@@DirtPerfect I'm sorry I did not know that. I understand now
How's the super stick work on the Volvo?
Haven’t tried it yet
That black decaying muck normally stinks to high heaven too 🤢
I could smell this video. If you were trying to hit the camera it never would have worked that way.
What's going on there behind his house ? Looks like the whole hillside is giving way to erosion ?
No chirt line
What a muddy mess. You and the Captian are heck on cameras. Ha ha.
lol we are
If it ain`t hitting the fan it's running down hill
😂😂
Bet you didn't think of burning that dry stuff off the surface of the pond. You could have seen what you were doing better and have less stuff to dip out too.
Turn that Hill into a greasy slope.
Explains the meaning of "Slicker Than Shit" huh? lol They have a lot of erosion problems there I see.
lol and no it’s the chirt line
On operating with the extra stick, could you just leave it straight out. Switch the thumb to the extra stick leave the bucket controls on the bucket, the operate the machine like a long reach hoe and if need to move stick use the thumb control? Less confusion.
No don’t work
Limits the area you can work in
@@DirtPerfect yes after thinking the bucket ram is fixed, you would have to make a hose manifold with all common fittings, the would work. Like how you switch controls at valve body at pump to change the controls to work how you want. Could be done. If was able to switch stick to thumb, leave the buck on the bucket controls. See I have done a lot of control plumbing, on a lot of different special machinery/equipment. Built for specific functions. Gets my mind going on way to make better, more options. Thinking out side of box.
Ugh that slop looks like it smells absolutely rank. Sliding down the hill like some greasy disgusting something I don't want to name lol.
Lol wasn’t to bad
Looks like someone is losing the back yard to mud sliding. Oooooffff!!!!
