The surveyor will go there, pick coordinates and measure the land, then use that to prepare a survey plan, you really don't need anything apart from taking him there
The coordinates on the survey plan is meant for a surveyor not for you. However, there are certain digits on the survey ending with mN and mE those are the coordinates

Good morning, yes survey first before deed, the land they are transferring to you must be allocated with clear boundaries before a deed is executed. Alternatively, the space for the survey plan no and the beacon number for demarcations can be left blank to be inputted later

If I understand properly, you mean to say that for the ministry of land to detect an error in the change of date , they'll only be able to do so through the Survey plan number? Or is there another means whereby they'll able to detect when the date has been back dated?
The backdating is mostly regarding survey plan, which is a practice the national institute of surveyors has banned. For the deed of assignment, the date part is mostly left blank, that's to reduce the stamp duty charge, because stamp duty starts reading from the date on the deed
