    I really enjoyed hearing the history of GALAXY, and I appreciate the comparisons to earlier magazines. It's fascinating to me that this particular issue comes in a period of great optimism, just before the world is about to be changed utterly. Great research, Gavin.

      Thanks Pat, I’ve enjoyed the excursion into the “future” of 1963, before heading back to the 1940s.
      It was also published one month before the first episode of “Doctor Who” was broadcast, but I thought JFK just edges it in terms of significance…
